Off-Topic.. My WoW Manga

Hey, just a quick couple illustrations I have been working on this past week or so. I have been playing a lot of WoW, and it makes it into my studio often, this is my latest addition! I hope at least someone takes a look and finds it interesting.

I plan on making a group shot of 4 Frost DKs and a Holy Paladin to represent my current team, but I still had ret pallies and DKs on my mind for these, since big swords are sexier than shields :P

I do a lot of illustration, I just haven't done a background yet for this shot, I am considering like I said a group shot of 4 DKs and a Paladin, and for that maybe I would figure out a background for it.

I am using Copic markers, which have that really really light, bright color hues to them, so they look REALLY cartoony, but thats only because thats what I have here hehe.. if I did it digitally, I would have used much different colors.

Well done! I like the textures you are getting with the markers. Mostly what I've been seeing is work done in Illustrator so this is a nice change. I used to do a lot of WoW screenshot manipulation but when I started multi-boxing that just came to an abrupt halt.

Yeah, I am terrible at Illustrating in Illustrator. I have a beautiful enormous Tablet for it, and I have gigantic monitors which would be ideal, but you just can not replicate the feeling and precision of drawing by hand, even if you are bad at it like me.

I don't know what unwritten rules might apply to Manga but, I think the one on the left is very nice, especially because of the hand gripping the fabric. It's just a nice touch that you thought to do that. I kinda want to see some reflective glare coming off the weapon but, that's a very Illustrator thing to do. If you are posting your work elsewhere you should provide a link. I know dual-boxing.com is all about the micro management that we all crave but, this is a nice diversion and, you did post it in off-topic so there.

my artwork isn't available online right now, my illustrations are either personal or used for business and unreproducible. but if I sketch anything else, this will be my first stop =)
