Put up a new vid of Shadowfang with new strats for the third and fourth boss. Much easier and cleaner this way. Also have last boss in Heroic VP on there.

Hey everyone,

This was the first time I killed these bosses and cleared the instance on heroic. All the guys are still in blues at this point, one or two i346 pieces and that's it. So it is possible to do these with no epics.

The last boss strat I came up with works perfectly. Put your aoe guys by the stairs facing out. Then your other two a little further out, but back form the first two (you'll see in the video). Then just tank him at the stairs, have him face the stairs so when he does the bullets you run through him and he hits no one.

When the ghouls come your aoe guys are there and can take care of them. This was a nightmare at first, but is pretty easy now if you do it this way.

Springvale isn't on this, but he is fairly easy now too. Just run him to the courtyard and you will only get two adds. I am sure they will fix this, but for now it works.

Let me know if you have any questions for strats. Team is a DK tank, mage, priest, druid and shaman.

I was only able to get up to a 5 minute mile on the treadmill while doing this. Just kidding... no treadmill for this run lol.

Not trying to be a dick, but why do you click your abilities so often on your DK? Keybindings are your friend.
Also what setup are you using for healing?

First boss you can dispel the Pain and Suffering dot to make your life much easier.

Second Boss decurse your tank before you heal him to save your mana. Probably wouldn't have lost the tank at the end.

I take it you skipped Springville?

On Walden... Spread your guys out to minimize the damage that they take. If you have the ability to remove poison make sure you are doing it. Strafe Left and Right or move forward and back during the green phase to minimize damage. Jumping seems to take longer to get the debuff off. During the "Red Light" phase don't move you were jumping and taking a lot of extra damage because of it.

Your Godfrey positioning is pretty creative. It's not necessary, but I like it pretty much guarantees that no one will get hit by the pistol barrage.

What's the addon called that shows the pain & suffering bar that way? Never saw it displayed like that (i use standard dbm bars).

Pain and suffering is taken off pretty much right when it is applied. You might want to watch again. I have one interrupt plus the DKs interrupt. Not as easy as 4 Shamans.

I do have everything keybound on the slaves. If I didn't I wouldn't be able to heal, cast spells or interrupt everything that is going on. Clicking my keys just makes it easier for me to control interrupts and doing things at the exact right time.

Keep in mind with 4 shamans you have one set of spells. Makes runs much smoother with all one class. One keybind for all. My Alliance Shaman team is way easier to run and control versus the Horde team above.

I have a new way of doing Walden that makes it totally easy. They are all spread out and never have to move, excpet to get rid of the mysterious green.

The red mysterious poison I learned after that run. It was the first time doing that boss. Didn't know about the red until I read it later on the wiki.

Remember this was the first clear done in 333 blues. Now, it's much easier of course as gear gets better and better.

Are you able to Fraps your runs? I'd really like to see an unedited run of Heroic Halls of Origination in blues and quest gear. That would be a fun video to watch.

The addon is called castbars. I have it showing way bigger than normal right now just to make sure I don't miss any of the casts or interrupts that need to happen.

I have 4 teams 80+ I understand having multiple classes. I still don't click that many of my abilities :). I was just wondering why you click so much, and I take it you are healing with character specific macros then?

Re: Frapsing if I get around to it I will. I tried the streaming thing for awhile but I need more bandwidth effing Timewarner is horrible in SoCal. Hoping to get Fios in the area soon.

First boss in Heroic HOO is the hardest part by far. After that it's like pew pew loot loot.

The priest has specific macros setup to group heal, specific target heal, dispel, circle of healing, shakra, guardian spirit and so on.

I finished another heoric today and noticed I wasn't clicking as much lol. I think I was just spazzing because it was the first run I did there and getting the kills felt pretty good. Also, the video is sped up 200% or something so that makes it look worse than it is.

Anyway, I have another heroic done on vid. I'll wait until it's nice and pretty before posting it. That's 3 so far. Not sure which one to do next.
