So I made my 3rd team yesterday with intent to get to 31, and boost 4 of the 5 to 60.
Made four worgen warlocks and my gf is playing the worgen priest.
We have RAF, level 7 guild (15% xp gain), and with warlocks it's so fast to run around and DOT everything. So here we are level 15 killing gray level 8s for quests.
Okay, it's time to leave! On to yellow questing. Oh wait, what? I can't leave!!??! I spent like 2 hours running around trying to figure out how to leave, haha, and this was after I dropped all my quests. Then I find out you must complete all the quests to be able to leave the zone.
!!!!!
I'm like 1/2 way through only and already pumping through gray quests.
Again, I warned you. I'm just being a big fat emo crybaby, and felt like bitching and moaning a little bit =)
On a brighter note, I think Worgen are super fun as hell to play.

Well, BEFORE that, you could leave at any time by talking to a ship captain. Problem was, once you talked to him, you were gone for good from the starting zone. And there really wasn't much of a warning like "Are you SURE you want to leave? Because there is no coming back."
Didn't help the guy was right next to a quest that only starts every 10-15 minutes or so. I'm sure many many players ended up talking to him while waiting for the event to start.

Shoot man, Try doing it with a sat. con. that quest Two by Sea is impossible to do for one toon, let alone 5.
So I simply mailed myself some gold, and paid some one to run the quest for me, in party to get credit.
Still, it's a PITA.

What I did for that quest was leave 4 of my priests right in front of the ship, and just catapulted one priest onto the ship. The lone priest killed the captain and because the others are standing right outside they all got credit. Repeated the same thing for the second ship.
So much easier than trying to get all 5 characters onto the boat.

Oh I would have Keeper, had I been able to. Thanks for the idea though.
What happens , is due to satellite lag, You see the Catapult fire, But it drops you right to the ground where you where initially at. It doesn't actually launch you to the boat deck.
I am in hopes that one day before the 22nd century we get some kind of land line out here though, I figure they have another 90 years or so.

we had a guy in our guild on satellite with a constant 2000ms lag who lived in the time zone of the data center. hes since moved on to a 25 man raiding guild and i dont know how hes pulling it off...
i really feel for the people who have to use satellite.

Thanks, it is nice to see some empathy for us on Sat.
It's one of the main reasons I got into Multiboxing, as at least the lag I see Is constant across 5 or more clients .
I actually was the main tank for a guild back in the day when Kara was the big Raid. The guild just gave me an extra 2-3 seconds to get aggro, and then jumped in.
I off tanked for awhile into LK, up until Leviathan, XT, and a few after that. but by that time it had wore me down quite a bit. I'll prob. get back into it again in the future, But to be honest, I have fun either DPSing, or the odd heal now and then. Of course, CC being brought back ala BC was always my happy time with tanking.

LOL @ Toned.
Most of my guildies where either Military, ex-military, or retired like me. Some I knew in real life, and others I met via the game, and sense that is where they where, that's where I went.
Back in Vanilla, I played WoW, but that was many a night before I even thought of Multiboxing. I think I was using an old AMD 939 board back then in the dark ages. Maybe even a C-64 it was so long ago. ;)

This has been one of my common complaints about WoW. It was pretty bad in 1.0 but it has gotten worse with each expansion. The way they force you through linear quests where you have to finish these two before you can do the next two and the next two and then the "epic" final battle(ZOMG) just feels too...I don't know. Something. I can understand the angle of having to do this so the phasing tech works in LK and later, but it still feels way too canned to me. Makes me want to /wrists thinking about doing another team through 80-85.

Yeah, I don't mind the long chains, but it's kind of annoying that now we have to do several unrelated quests just to open the next tier. Great for linearity, I guess. Just seems to detract from the living world feeling.
