Hello all, been reading the forums for a few months now, but finally got the nerve to ask some questons.

I know all the information I need is here someplace in bits and pieces, but I have yet to find exactly what I need in a neat package, so sorry for being lazy!

Im looking to do just two accounts on two pc's. I have read dozens of posts on all sorts of set ups but nothing as simple as what I want to do. I have some questions for you:

#1 Is there a post or write up that I havent found yet that describes this setup already?

#2 Are all I need some good macros and thats it? Im guessing that with my arrangement its probably simple.

#3 Can I control both PC's from one interface? Should I? How?

#4 Any general tips or information would be greatly appreciated.

There are a few stickies across these forums that discussing using more than 1 computer for multiboxing. There are two key pieces of software you'll want to look at:
Synergy - use one mouse/keyboard across multiple machines.
KeyClone - broadcast keystrokes across multiple machines.
Look for stickies with them in the topic.

#1 - Yes, look at the stickies in the software/hardware tools, general, and beginner's forums.
#2 - Sort of, you'll at least need a few simple macros for /follow, /target, /cast commands. But you'll also need the software/hardware setup to easily control all the instances of WoW. You may want to use Maximizer to display your WoW windows.
#3 - Yes, with Synergy & Keyclone.
#4 - Read as much as possible through the stickies here - there's all the info you'll need.

Thanks!

I was thinking that it would almost be as easy just using both keyboards with some decent macro's. But ill study those aps and read a bit more.

If your dualing 2 of the same class, then yes I'd operate both from the same machine/interface.

For dualing different classes (e.g. Priest/Warrior) I'd operate them seperately, and did so with my priest/warrior from level 10-70. For me it's somehow helpful to have them separated mentally. Also, if you go with this suggestion (and it matches what you're doing) I'd highly suggest getting something like a Belkin N52 gaming pad (check Hardware forums for options) as they're designed for one hand use, vs. a standard keyboard... plus they have a smaller footprint, and they're cheap (~$30).

GL&HF!
