Jamba - problem with adding team members.

been lazy - finally decided to load up jamba again, but I'm having issues getting everything running. When I try to add members to the team from the 'Core: Team" section, the dialog box comes up to input the name, but when I click accept, nothing happens. I haven't been able to find anything about this particular problem with my searches. Has anyone else ever encountered this problem?

Edit: I have also tried loading other versions of jamba, all of which have had the same problem. This leads me to believe that it isn't a problem with jamba, but rather my own configuration.

Same problem. I considered editing the wtf files to fix it, but whatever. jamba-quest also seems seriously buggy... Guess this isn't maintained anymore.

Er, I'm right here, the main Jamba thread is above, I answer questions at least once a week. If you think you have found a bug, please tell me. There are few known issues with Jamba-Quest, but I wouldn't call it buggy. It works fine for my team. Perhaps you need help configuring it?

Make sure you have 0.7d as all pre-cata versions will not work with cata.

Have you tried with all other addons disabled?

I'll make sure I can add a character tomorrow, but I can't see it not working.

If I were a GM, I'd say something like "try disabling all other addons" and such. ;) I'd be somewhat surprised if it were a problem with Jamba, though. I'd disable the other addons one at a time and see which one doesn't like Jamba. You'll have to provide at least that bare minimum of debug info to Jafula if you actually expect a fix/workaround.

My apologies, Jafula. It is a great addon...I just came off a lot of frustration leveling to 85 and then even more frustration trying to run heroics.

no problems from my end, just created 2 new teams and comms appear to be completely fine between the windows. Personally I've always found small issues with accepting/completing quests but it's probably something to do with my setup and frankly, nothing CTRL-Alt-R can't fix quickly.

If you get frustrated, I find shaking the monitor vigorously for 5 minutes while shouting expletives at the neighbours helps.

If it doesn't show up on your addon list, its not installed properly. Under the main addons folder you need to see

Jamba
Jamba-Quest
Jamba-Follow
etc

Alternatively, if you install it via a properly configured Curse Client, it will show up correctly.

Just tested the adding a new team member and it works for me. Try it without any other addons enabled.

All my issues were related to me doing something stupid. Everything is flawless now, thank you for the help :)
