Guess who's back...back again! Stealthy's back...tell a friend! (apologies to Eminem ;))

Hi all,

It's been a few months since I've played, mostly due to LOTS of RL stuff going on.

Work-wise I took a new position within the company a few months back which initially meant more hours. Also during this time the company moved headquarters, and listed on the Aus. stock exchange, both of which I was involved in, and this took up even more time - you can imagine how much I'm looking forward to the Christmas break!!! :)

Outside of work I've moved into a new apartment and had some very bad luck with the car - got caught in a flash flood and ended up with water inside the block - engine seized , complete rebuild required and I won't get it back until Feb... :(

On a positive note, I've just put together a new kick-ass system (will post some pics shortly) and am in the process of transferring games & data across - hope to have it all finished in the next few days.

Really looking forward to getting back into WoW- will see you all soon!!

4 x 2TB hard drives (it's going to be my media server as well)

very nice Set up man, sorry to hear about your car problems though.

If you don't mind, a question.

It's hard to see on the monitors, but are they side by side directly, or do you have them overlapping to where just one Bezel is showing. I have wanted to try something like that myself, but I worry the sides would be distracting if too large.

Still though, it looks very nice indeed.

Damn I missed you! Not sure if you know yet but I left Mag and went to Kil'Jaeden.

F9thRet - the monitors are overlapping so only the bezel from the centre monitor is showing. The left and right monitors are also angled inwards slightly - I find it more enjoyable to play games like this as in encompasses the whole peripheral vision and gives a better effect of being "in" the game. Interestingly, after a few mins of playing a game, I find I don't notice the bezels anymore.

Loving it so far. Bunch of nice people there though too busy doing RAF and trying to level..10 boxing now. You should all move over here! It is high pop pvp which means world pvp everywhere you go! I might can arrange to have free faction changes for server moves! I would be so happy..simply giddy, actually, if you and oath came over!

Hey Stealthy!

I'm glad to see you are still doing well. I didn't see your post initially as I was out of the country for a few weeks over the Christmas holidays. Looks like a very sweet setup!

As Blast3r said, many of us have moved over to KJ. I'm 10-boxing here and have 25 level 80+ toons on KJ. I always have fond memories of getting together with you and Zaelea (mainly) and doing 25-man Naxx. Currently, we're doing some fun things on KJ that are similar. Tony and I are clearing 25-man Sarth every week for the beautiful twilight drakes, four of us are getting together to do the 25-man Ulduar hard modes for the Iron-bound Drake, and Pinot and I just downed a level 85 raid boss last night!

We'd love it if you chose to move as well, but I totally understand if you chose to stay in a place where you've been a mainstay forever. If you stay on Mag, I hope you can find some other players who want to do similar things to what we're doing on KJ. It is definitely fun. :D

Kj sounds like it's a fun place to be right now. Might even have to move over myself if I lose my last friends on frostmourne.
