best for pve?

I was wondering which specs would be best. Sv or bm hunter? And frost or fire mage? Also would elemental shaman be better than a mage? Thanks.

my current idea for 25man is TANKS: blood dk, prot pally and bear druid. HEALS: resto druid x3 and resto shaman x3. DPS: fury war, frost dk x2, ret pally x3, ele shaman x3, sv hunter x4, balance druid x2 and frost mage.

At level 80 Mage imo wipes out shaman for dps.

Use fire mage for single target and arcane for aoe.

@sam Thanks. I was thinking ele shammies for the self rez. Guess if you can just burn the bosses down with mages you wont be in a situation of needing self rez.
