I have been totally out of the loop for like 4 months and haven't paid any attention to the changes etc.

So what are you guys boxing (PvE and PvP)?

I read the shamans are quite good now.

What about 1xProc Pala + 4xret? Still viable for pve?

Youll just have to look around.

Im leveling my main team as feral bear, ret pally, unholy dk, elly shaman, disc priest.
Have another team in the works that is prot pally, elly shaman, 3x disc priests. Others have different projects going.

Check out the threads =)

There are alot of combos that would work for 5mans. I dont see why 1 prot and 4 rets wouldnt work. But ya look around the threads.

So far, I've run:
- 5x Feral Cats.
- 4x Frost DK, 1x Disc Priest.

And plan to run (have mixed up a lot of my teams):
- 1x Blood/Frost DK, 1x Arc Mage, 1x Boomkin/Resto Druid, 1x Elem/Resto Shaman, 1x Destro Lock.
- 4x Shaman, 1x Pally (together for leveling and maybe PvE; might go 1x Prot one-boxing and 4x Shammy BG's)

And will eventually level:
- 5x Disc Priests (existing team, 75th at the moment)
- 5x BM Hunters (existing team, 75th at the moment)
- 1x Disc Priest, 4x Demo Locks (existing team, 22nd at the moment).

Thinking of a new team:
- 5x Shockadins (Horde, to join Pally/DK's and Disc/Warlocks).

The whole Click to Move + Interact With Target is working great for the melee teams. Both of my compositions work quite well like that.

Aside from the 5x Ferals, the next three teams look quite different from WotLK. But change is good, and will likely have lots of fun with each of the four teams.

My team has been always a mixed class except just when cataclysm launched my dual Acane mage changed to 1 mage and 1 lock. Managed to kill everything (except stonecore last boss... still haven't done in normal again) on normal difficulty. Now gearing to have some heroic tries.

I'm running a pally team that switches between 5x prot and 1 prot + 4 rets, depending on the content. The biggest problem with this group is lack of healing on undergeared content. Flash of Light sucks mana but in the newer boss fights, it's just about the only one you can successfully get cast before the next boss AoE hits. Kinda sucks but c'est la vie.

For content you outgear, 5x prot is crazy fun AoE. Cheap consecrates and hammers flying everywhere is soooooo much fun.

When I first started boxing I wanted to level as many different classes as I could because you never know when one will get nerfed and one will get OP as hell.

I am going to 10 box everything but dks, warriors and mages for the most part. I will have 3 tanks to choose from for PVE (Druid, DK and Pally). Might actually RAF gift a Warrior and slowly level it down the road because you never know.

I rerolled my main: goblin shaman, made him on day of launch, dinged lvl 85 6 days later. He is my raider and the toon I play solo pvp with.

Next to that I play:

5x ele shaman
1 disc + 4 dk
2 trees + 3 lock

and still have my paladin that I can use as a tank for any team or mix of the teams for pve content.

Nice thanks for the input!

I love reading the different layouts you guys choose when it comes to group compositions. :)

Edited my post a little; changed my compositions again.

Going to test:
- Blood/Frost DK, Arcane Mage, Destro Lock, Resto Druid, Resto Shaman.
- DK will run Blood in instances, Frost during leveling; Druid/Shaman have DPS Caster off-specs.
- Am curious: Can Druid & Shaman combine to equal 1x average DPS, while between them act as 1x healer?
- Want this as my PvE Heroics team.

In the process of setting up, three or four one-button spam keys.
Which give a varying amount healing vs dps, for the Druid & Shaman.
Will probably convert these to mapped keys, and use toggles so its one button spam irregardless of the "mode".

The 5x Ferals, are 84th.
Going casually, but everything has been a breeze.

The 4x Frost DK's + 1x Disc Priest...
Have been assembled, set up and tested on a few quests, but not played much yet.
They'll be team #2, to level.

Other teams have had their Alchemy raised.
So back up to 29 alchemists, with at least Volatile Life transmute; only the Druids have Truegold (which isn't as profitable, on average).

Im leveling in outlands right now.

Team 1 - prot pally, destro lock, boomkin, fire mage, disc priest - all lvl 66

(having problems figuring out boomkin rotation, dmg output sucks)

Team 2 - blood dk, destro lock, bm hunter, ele shaman, disc priest - all lvl 62

(having problems with hunter continuing to follow dk into melee range and ending up to close to shoot stuff)

Team 3 - prot warr, ele shaman, fire mage, bm hunter, resto druid - all lvl 60

(just finished setting up macros and getting them all on the same page quest-wise)

Team 4 - bear druid, cat druid, ele shaman, destro lock, holy pally - all lvl 60

(need help setting up isboxer to work when using a melee class that wont be the MAIN window)

Will be cycling through these as rest bonus dries up. Team one is the most fun so far just because i have no problems or quirks when running it. I have lots more toons to use but i need to get these four teams working and progressing before making more.

Team 1
- Boomkin info towards the bottom of Post #1: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=32633

Team 2
- Hunters have a tendency to switch to melee attacks automatically, when a ranged target gets close enough that it can be melee'd but not shot. There might be an option to not automatically switch to melee, not sure on that. Any time a character melees it breaks follow, as do many of the channeling type spells.

Team 4
- Ensure you have Click to Move enabled on the melee slave accounts (or all melee accounts). Then ensure you have a hotkey for Interact With Target, either giving the hotkey to only the melee toons or putting them into an Action Target Group and using that group (melee toons only) as the target of your IWT mapped key. Press IWT while CTM is enabled, and the toon will run to melee range. After that, it is the same as a caster, press hotkeys or spam a castsequence.
