Hi all

I have 2 WoW accounts, and I seem to run into some strange graphic problems when I run both. I copied the entire World of Warcraft folder, so now in my Program Files I have 2 copies (World of Warcraft and World of Warcraft 2).

I use 2 seperate launchers to get up and running, I login to both. Generally after a given amount of time, the graphics on the 2nd instance will glitch out very badly.

I've updated my latest video card drivers, I run Windows XP, nVidia 7600GT graphics card. A non dual-core Athlon64 3500+ and 2GB of RAM. I keep video settings at a modest level on both instances of WoW.

Any tips on how to fix this issue? Would be much appreciated.

What do you mean by glitch? Maybe by being more specific it'll be easier for someone to diagnose and fix your problem.

Try to lower your graphics settings. Your computer might be trying to pull to much from your card, resulting in loss of video.

If not, are you running 2GB configured as two sticks of 1GB each? If so, you may have a problem with memory interleaving on your motherboard or just a problem with memory in general. Try removing one stick of RAM and see if that fixes the problem (yes, I know it'll be painfully laggy). Also, have you checked to see how hot your graphics card (and system/CPU) is running? NVidia's NTune applet may report temperatures back to you, though I'm not familiar with whether that card has thermal sensors on it or not.
