The lvl 12 joke turned lvl 85 elite now has 1.9 million hp and hits for 60k per. Ive asked in trade chat if its possible to kill him and the most popular response i get is that no matter how large the raid it would fail. Yet my idea is to form a 25 man raid and have the healers focus on just the tanks. With only ranged dps. And using polymorph, hunter traps, frost mage trap, etc. to ensure he only hits the tanks and simply grind it out til hes dead (with dead players running back from graveyard instead of being rezzed). Anyone else have thoughts on this? I personally hope that he is soloable be the end of cata.

I've killed him on my DK/Ret team a few times. Yes, he hits very hard, but he's far from impossible if my team can 5 box him. 1.9 million is about the norm for most dungeon bosses.

That gives me alot of hope. I know its just a guess but any idea if, by the end of Cata, he will be able to be killed by just 1 toon?

Definitely. There's nothing you can't kill, that you can kite. (aslong as it doesn't heal)

So a hunter should have no problems.

You guys do know Gamon is now immune to all CC and has a charge/intercept ability to prevent kiting, right?

November 30th (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/1232869)
Gamon is now immune to all forms of crowd control, uses the abilities Charge and Battle Shout, and wrecks adversaries with his new two-handed axe.
I haven't tried to take him down; is he really that easy to kill?

EDIT: Ugh beat me, but I came with a link!

Yeah, before the changes he could be snared and therefore kited. Players were soloing him and Blizzard decided to provide a bit of a surprise. Was funny to watch the pile of corpses and cries of "WTF" after the change.

It would exactly take 8 seconds to kill him with a 25 man raid doing 10k dps each. With bloodlust, potion & blowing cooldowns you won't even need a tank.

I dont think he is immune to daze effects, which are not considered to be CC. I've seen a hunter at 80 kiting and killing him.

I too have soloed him at 85 a few times on my dk+ret team, very easy, just pour on the heals
