I'm starting a new job in Newport Beach CA (if anyone is local to the area then let me know!) in January. I'm currently busy relocating from CT and wrapping up everything at my old job. This new position could mean brutal hours and I'm not expecting to be able to play for many months. So, the Ugly Guys have been taken out by the biggest foe of all - RL.

I hope someone takes up the cause of the disc priests as I feel they had serious PvE viability.

Congrats on the real life ding :)

Let me know if you need any local advice, I lived in Huntington Beach and Long Beach for the past 3 years and just recently moved back up to the Studio City area this past spring, but still have contacts and stuff down in the South Bay/Orange County area. (and Smokebum lives around the Carson area - though he may not be checking db.com since the RL raid boss smacked him down recently too).

I just moved from the Lawndale / Hawthorne area, to Iowa... small world. Good luck out there, hope you're making bank cause thats a pricey area.

Im going to level my team up but who knows, by the time i get them there you could be back online lol.

Good luck!

hmm, this should be in "General Discussion" but I usually posted updates about my team in the group section... oops

Thanks for the well wishes - I'm looking forward to the change! It's damn cold in CT right now and I'm looking forward to the warmer weather (though I will miss snow)

Welcome to the left coast. I moved to San Diego from Boston a year and a half ago. The change of pace is nice as well as the "scenery" :) I miss the Northeast but don't regret the move.

Oh and snow and skiing/boarding is only about 2 hrs away. So if you start jonesing for the cold, it's easy to get to.

Welcome to california where the weather is always... nice.
haha

I actually work in West LA / Santa Monica area. You will love talking to people who have no idea what winter tires are and conversations that end in "hey lets go to the beach" in mid december.
