Hi all,

I've been using these macros in Blackrock Caverns on Corla (boss that spawns the two adds). I set each add as a focus and then aoe tank them and the boss. Whenever they start their special attack, the 25k hit, I spam my interrupt button.

/target Tank
/cast [@focus, exists] wind shear
/cast [@targettarget, exists] wind shear
/cast wind shear

you can replace wind shear with 'solar beam' and 'counter spell' if you run a druid/mage.

I haven't made it to heroics yet, but this really simplified corla.

Do you primarily use non-focused based macros? I've been ponder going away from focused based following and assisting, and i have yet to setup ISBoxer.

Run the wizard, and your 1-0, minus and equal keys will be FTL.
You can just drag spells or macros (but no need for assist in them) onto your action bar.

If for some reason you want to use Focus (PvP/Crowd Control).
Put a macro with Focus on the action bar.
And even though FTL will change the slave's target to the master's, it will still fire at the Focus.

I was using all focus based macros, but after talking with another boxer I moved away from that model.

My dps all /assist tank and that frees up focus for cc, interrupts or heals. It took some adjusting but my dps are more functional characters.

My follows are just /follow macros with an 'F" keybinding (great for vehicles). When I pvp, which isn't often, I chain the conditions with /follow [name, exists, nodead]. Nothing special, found it on the sticky.

I was a hardware boxer first and prefer to work things out with the default ui and basic key broadcasting. That way if something changes (a brand of software is banned, an addon is no longer maintained, the macro interface is updated, or a patch breaks something) it is very simple to adjust and move on.

If you are using focus based macros, and not using their normal target for anything (like me) you can set their target for interrupt/cc purposes.
Just like how if you are using assist based macros your focus might be free for such purposes.
