Should I level 5 JC

Hi,
Should I level 5 JC?

I dont care so much about the cuts, but since heroics don't drop epics, Chimera's eye will be expensive right?
Which I can sell from the dailies? Would you agree?

Any thoughts?
Atm I only have 1 JC.

If you don't need the bonus from jc only gems, then you don't need jewel crafting. You can get away with just the one character with maxed out jc. That said, it seems pretty common for enchanting + jewel crafting for the bonuses for a lot of min-max players.

To be honest
Right now I have five JCers doing the dailies.

I used to sell Dragon's eye x5 everyday and it provide a nice steady stream of income combined with dailies x25 x5 for ME.
Not stressed about playing the AH.

But as of right now, I don't see a market for dragon's eyes yet because people are still gearing up and are not ready to drop thousands on gemming a piece that might be replaced soon by tier gear.

I'm tempted to split up my JCers like one get all the physical/tanking cuts and one get spell cuts (mostly for convenience), any thoughts on that?

convenience would be to have 1 jc do all of them imo haha. that way the other 4 just only concentrate on the daily.
As for making money, I used to have 5x transmute mastery alchys. and they would just daily transmute the elementals. Great money since you usually go something thats super common, IE earth to something uncommon and procs = bonus money :P

Alchemy is the best profession in the game. All of them get the same total stat bonuses, except you only have to do the Alchemy stat bonus once for each expansion AND you use it to gain skill points. With JC you've got to do the daily and then trade in tokens for gems and then cut them and socket them. For BS you've got to put new sockets in each time you get an upgrade and then spend money on the gems. Enchanting and all the rest are very similar--They require some level of maintenance. I'm all about ease of use :)

Also, it should be said that the money you can make off of transmutes is ridiculous.

How do you effectively level all 5 up at once though? Or do you do them one at a time? I guess you could setup an FTL gathering scheme......

when i did my characters, i leveled them 1 at a time. It just took a large chunk of my gold to do it and I nearly destroyed the herb market on my server... ( actually i did destroy the herb market... no one could buy herbs for under 50g for awhile because thats what I raised the prices to. Mind you this is pre wotlk so that was super expensive then )
but in the end, I made back nearly 10 folds with simple transmutes.
