Cant get assist on several NPC in Cata

Hello,

There always was few NPC in wow who mess with assist. I don't know why, my suggestion was because they from different reality for every char. or something like that.
But in cata number of such NPC increased dramatically, Deepholm - several quest givers etc.

Step by step description: NPC right in front of me, I take him in target by main, press assist+IWT = nothing happens (or toons try to interact with previous target)
Temp solution for me is to use "broadcast all" and use mouse to take this NPC in target.

But maybe there is some simple solution? (Or maybe it's only Russian servers problem? I don't really believe in this)

I've seen the same.
But it is game side, and not software, because even if you type: /assist CharacterA, it fails to assist.

It is the special NPC's who are phased or in different stages.

The normal quest guys that are always there, and not dependent on being in a given phase or on a specific step of a quest, work fine.



Since you tagged this as ISBoxer, just take advantage of the instant PiP swap.
Or if it is easy to mouse broadcast onto the target, that works too.

Yes it is a game issue not SW, but I think there is a SW way to help us with this.. And since I use ISBoxer... ;)

Something like... main transfer target name "XXX" to ISBoxer & ISBoxer using macro function(/target XXX.. not assist on main) help toons to interact with this NPC.
Unfortunately AFAIK macros thru ISBoxer need /reload command to take effect..

Ok let's wait for some ideas or updates on this topic :)
