Group: Paladin, Priest, Mage, Warlock, Hunter
Level: 62/63

Trash:

My tank was able to handle 3-4 of the Bogstrok ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Bogstrok') and keep aggro on them while getting healed and burning down 1 or 2 as quickly as possible. Sheeping 1 while tanking the rest was pretty easy.

Coilfang Champion ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Coilfang_Champion') is a bastard due to the Intimidating Shout, make sure to pull them far back or deal with the fear in some way so as not to aggro more mobs. I usually CC them and then Fear Ward before engage and burn them down quick.

My tank was able to deal with both Coilfang Defenders ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Coilfang_Defender') at the same time so no kiting was used.

Coilfang Rays ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Coilfang_Ray') are a pain and I just burn them down first.

I haven't had to deal with the mind control of the Soothsayers yet but I imagine that my strategy on those packs will be Sheep on a Champion, Seduce on a Soothsayer, burn the ray and if the pally loses aggro on anything a freezing trap on the group should give me time to regain control. Multiple fears are the problem and wise use of Fear Ward is essential.

Bosses:
[list=1]
Mennu ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Mennu_the_Betrayer')

Drops a lot of totems and the healing totem heals for tons. Also has a crapload of HP and heals self now and then. Endurance fight and the healing totems need to be destroyed asap.

1st attempt: No strategy, just getting used to the encounter. Pally stayed up for a very long time, priest healed for a very long time. DPS ran OOM and finally priest ran OOM.

2nd attempt: Paladin destroys healing totems with Judgements or melee if close enough. Moderate success, difficulty in targeting totems. DPS go OOM and priest goes OOM eventually. Boss down to <50%.

3rd attempt: Totem killing macro for warlock imp.

/targetenemy
/cast Firebolt
Basically the warlock just targets the next enemy and tells the imp to firebolt it. Good attempt. Boss down to <20%. Wiped due to OOM again.

I only had time for the 3 attempts. For the next attempt I plan to maybe use refined pet macros, one for the imp and one for the hunter pet.

Imp: /petattack Mennu's Healing Ward
Cat: /petattack Tainted Stoneskin Totem

The other totems I don't really care about (earthgrab and corrupted nova). Just keep the tank topped up after a lightning bolt so when a corrupted nova totem goes off the tank survives.

I also plan to use mana potions on the next attempt and it seems like I will finally need to pay some attention to my DPS rotations. The mage is incredibly mana efficient (frost) and with a mana gem and evocation in the bag the mage should not have mana problems at all.

I need to look at my hunter shot rotation. Not much I can do about the hunter mana except pot.

The warlock is interesting. I am considering a 3 or 4 damage spell followed by a Life Tap rotation. I am not sure if keeping a Siphon Life up will heal enough though. I don't want to use healer mana on the warlock, especially not in this fight. The other option is to work out how many Life Taps = Life Drain (from memory this was not very efficient as you use most of the mana gained by Life Tap on Life Drain) and put it in a rotation. Only drawback with this is that triggering any action will break a channeled spell. I wish I got the "another ability in progress" message when trying to trigger something while channeling. This is also a very long fight so Curse of Doom comes into play.

EDIT:

Ok, managed to kill Mennu.

Priest: Used 1x mana pot
Mage: Used Evocate during the fight (forgot to make a mana gem)
Warlock: Updated my DPS cycles to include Life Taps and threw a Greater Heal on once during the fight.
Imp: took care of healing totems using updated macro as above
Cat: took care of armor totems using macro as above

Extremely busy fight for me. Healing, destroying totems, dpsing and remembering to dps with the paladin as well to keep aggro. Like playing a piano. My priest still ran OOM and I needed a mana pot. Overall I am pretty happy with how it went though. Mennu was under 20% when the priest ran out of mana so if I pick the dps up a bit I should be able to finish him off before needing to pot.

EDIT 2: Mennu seemed stupidly easy on my last kill with everyone at lvl 64. No one ran OOM, in fact, I am not sure if anyone even went below half. Pets were on dedicated totem duty again and it works really well. DPS must have picked up quite a lot, perhaps the level difference just means a lot less resists.

Rokmar ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Rokmar_the_Crackler')

Ouch. Double ouch. You need serious healing for this fight. The two abilities to worry about:

[list]
Grievous Wound - killer bleed effect, heal to full to get rid of it
Water Spit - killer frost AoE 40 yard range

Keeping the tank topped up seems a lot easier than it actually is using only 1 healer. I had trouble even with both the pally and the priest healing. Rokmar hits hard and the bleed effect ticks for 900 every 2s. Greater heal is 3 seconds and if you get 2 bleed ticks and a melee hit or a water spit you will NOT heal the tank to full. Shield will eat 1 bleed tick and trigger a 1.5s cooldown.

I am going to need a LOT more setup for this fight. Had 2 or 3 attempts but really just learning the fight. Plan:

healthstones all around for 1st water spit
bubble / taunt for 1st grievous wound
circle of healing for 2nd water spit
greater heal + circle of healing for 2nd water spit (pot if necessary)
prayer of healing for further water spits
lay on hands for emergency grievous wound removal

Alternative strategy: hunter pet tank with pally and priest healing

Tough fight. Might need another level for this.

EDIT: Few more attempts on Rokmar. I tried with the pally tanking first as everyone was now level 64 but the priest ran OOM again. I was also experimenting with Circle of Healing instead of Prayer of Healing. I used the hunter's new boar pet next. With the priest doing Greater Heals and the Paladin helping out with Holy Lights I managed to get Rokmar low enough to enrage and couldn't keep the pet up. My priest was killed before the pally could grab aggro. Wipe at 4%. I did another attempt with the pet but it screwed up so I decided to head to Quagmirran first and then come back.

PS: The boar was only level 62 with 5 loyalty.

Final attempt I sent the boar in again only to realize I forgot to switch the priest macros from healing the pally to healing the boar. So the pet died pretty quickly while I was still trying to swap macros so I just taunted with the pally and started tanking. Got him down to enrage and started spamming heals like mad and suddenly he was dead. It seemed way too easy. Not sure exactly why that attempt seemed to work much better as I didn't really change anything. The priest is still the only healer, Greater Heals on tank, Prayer of Healing on group. I think the Pally used a health pot to help out with getting topped up to remove the debuff.

Quagmirran ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Quagmirran')

Stupidly easy. I got the buff from Bite, put the nature resistance aspect of the hunter on and pulled Quag and proceeded to beat on him. The priest did a Prayer of Healing after his poison bolt volleys. No problems keeping the tank up.

I screwed up once during his poison breath thing and taunted too quickly which meant I lost aggro after his breath finished. I managed to grab aggro back before he killed anyone though and from there it was just straight forward spank and tank.

He dropped a tanking breastplate that was crapper than what my tank was already working, yay for itemization.

Well done dude, and good to see the updates as they let us n00b's know that what we're aiming for is actually doable.

Shame about the loot but if you're running it enough times for faction reasons I'm sure you'll get some of the better drops soon enough :)

I should have dropped down here to this forum to have a look earlier before I made my post about slave pens. I've enjoyed reading your dungeon write-ups thus far Thinus. I'm also running a multi-disciplinary team.

Keep up the good work!
