Are there any addons out there that record the order of spells you are casting ? If not, is it even possible ?

Like

1. Fireball
2. Frostbolt
3. Summon Banana
4. Frostbolt
5. Frostbolt
5. And so on
This would make life much easier when creating 2 step macros, because then we could get them to match the theorycrafted rotations.

I don't know what 'record' means, help us help you ... I am sort of assuming your need a multiplexer and some sequences. If just a sequence (with bannanna omitted)

/castsequence [@focus, harm, nodead] reset=combat/target Fireball, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt

When we use the 2step macros, there are some randomness to what spell we are casting from those two macros. So I was wondering if there are any addons out there that could record from the combat log what spells I am casting and then output the log as a list in the SavedVariables folder. So I could add/remove spells from the macro to get it as close to the theory crafted rotation as possible.

Right now I have to go back and manually look through the combat log, and then tweak the macros.

You could go to Elististjerks or Maxdps and find out what the "ideal" rotation is.
And base which spell to include, and at what point to include it, based on the theoretical best spells.

Not as far as I have found and have been working on tweeking macros for a bit now for MT 2 button ISboxer setup Project: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=33080

I have been working on and collecting macros for each Tank and dps Classes and Next Healing and been trying to tweek and maintain a Macro Library: (curently the Macros have conditionlals setup for ISboxer but easly strped off for other uses)

If you come up with a Inproved macro would love to see it and posably include it in the labrary.

If your grinding instances, I would suggest running a combat log, and uploading it to wwstats or whatever your favorite place is. Handling procs (especially haste) and movement would be the big advantage here.

Zoning into naxx10/25 depending on how your geared and burning on some Gargoyles works nicely since they go indestructible and have actual health.

Fwiw, they will reset if you step back right at the entrance ring which is nice to know when your working out macros and mess something up (like healing, jamba didnt sync, etc)
