Total suckage by Blizz again... Dragon Blight EU ques were insane I gave up in the end... Im wondering why im paying for a 386 DX server they seem to be running DB on.
(386 was a very old computer about 15 years ago way before the pentium classes and the DX was with added maths co processor the next model was the 486 Mhz chipset ^^)

I cannot wait for new servers!
But are new servers really needed? When checking the Europe servers several of them seem to have low load. The real problem is that people still tend to crowd at certain servers, this Blizzard can't do anything about. Even free character transfers won't help solving this since people have both irl friends and guild friends on a particular realm and don't want to leave.
Only solution I can think of would be if Blizzard ever allow a "free guild transfer" allowing all characters in a guild to be transfered to a low populated server.

Indeed, a ton of US servers are marked as 'Low' population as well even when there are at least 50 realms which are in
High,Full, or Locked status during this Cata launch. A long, long time ago, when Tseric (http://www.wowpedia.org/Tseric) was still a CM and the Blizzard forums
were version 1.0 (http://www.staronion.com/maiev/img/wow_paladin.jpg) [remember they just launched version 3.0 a few weeks ago], Tseric had a post where he mentioned that
Blizzard would look into merging realms if people refused to take free transfers and help balance realms. I am still curious if
they would pursue such a path with all of the low population ghost town realms or even with realms like Mal'Ganis US (http://www.wowprogress.com/pve/us/mal-ganis/rating.tier10_25) or
Cho'gall US (http://www.wowprogress.com/pve/us/cho-gall/rating.tier10_25) where an entire faction completely dominates one side of the two.

I had about 5-minutes of queue on Garona(US) at 8pm. Not too bad. It was much worse during WotLK.
Of course, that's on Tuesday. This weekend will be murderous, I'm sure.

30 minute queue on Stormrage two nights in a row. Not that bad, considering that it's been a high-pop server for a while now. They're offering free transfers to Dentarg, but I'm hoping that other people take it, as I don't feel like asking my friends to move and re-creating a guild. Not for the guild exp, but for the bank tabs. If I have to rebuild my guild bank and purchase all of the tabs again, then it sure as hell is not a 'free" transfer.

My old friends ran from Dentarg when it was offered. It went from crowded to dead in a month or two. Still pretty bad, I would start new before returning

Here's what happens, people flock to KJ without realizing that it is, by far, in the most crowded Battlegroup of any. When most
people arrived last year they thought it was awesome and great and loved almost everything about it and were, generally,
glad they had made the move.
Now, with the queues, KJ has become the worst place they could have possibly transferred to and those that need to be
online right now simply hate it. So here's what happens:
Scenario 1:
You take the free transfer off of KJ to that low population realm and you're able to
instantly play w/o any queues. At first you're ecstatic and you're able to dominate
the AH with your team(s) because you left the competition of other boxers and
that high populated realm behind you.
Scenario 2:
You suck it up and stay on KJ and either take a few weeks off of the game or deal
with the long queues. After the queues subside and the realm goes back to a
more normal status you get to play just like you would before.
The end result is, you either liked KJ when you got there or you didn't. Those that didn't will probably be happier somewhere
else and here is your chance to move everything you've invested here, for free. Those that did like moving to KJ and any
PvP that did happen will probably not be happy on a low populated realm; and if they transfer off, will probably end up
regretting they did 6 months down the line.
High populated realms bring a great economy, tons of action, world PvP like none other, the ability to successfully PUG end
game content before any low or medium populated realm, and many other awesome things. They also come with instability,
down time, queues, and other negative draw backs.
Morale of the story, either suck it up or GTFO.

Yeah, this happens with every expansion. Bugs, queues, lots of patching, etc. It can be frustrating if you are not patient. But it does clear up eventually.
Man.. that shit was 2900 people in line.... What the hell?
It's all those damn multiboxers <.< >.>
I'm sticking it out on KJ. Things will normalize. For the time being, I've been amusing myself on a low pop server in the new starting areas. The Goblin starting story is pretty fun.
