Mount Speed

Is there a way to reduce the riding/flying speed down to 60%/150% despite having Journeyman/Artisan?

I am boosting my hunter (lvl 28) with my druid (74) and follow always break due to the speed difference. Is there any solution other than letting the faster follow the slower mount?

you could perhaps run with ur lower level and let ur druid follow ^^

The 74 can ride a slow mount. I did that with my hunter for a while, but found using the fast mount to follow works better

AFAIK, there aren't any slow mounts. They all scale with riding skill now. I suppose since it's a druid booster, though, you could travel form the druid and have the hunter follow on a mount, but then the main will be slower than the slave.

You can't slow down your skill, no matter what mount you ride. I have the same problem with my PvE group ATM. They're all 71/slow and my 80 DK has epic flying. With me leveling up another few professions and breaking the bank it's gonna be a bit before they get epic flyers.

Just have your lowbie be the leader.

Thank you all for your responses. In my book this new 'feature' was really unnecessary but heck, we adapt, do we? :) It is going to be a long road to epic flying. Have fun out there. O.
