Found out about it three weeks ago. Still can't find any confirmed source of exactly what it does. I have been playing for 3 months now (after quitting for a year) and havent picked any profession yet cause of all these changes.

I may end up picking Engineering Enchanting on my tank because of this if it is as good as it seems.

This is the million gold question isn't it. I already have 2 teams of engineers so I will definitely check it out

but then, even if the range is 2yards, it's still awesome isnt it?
i mean, most dead mobs are usually about 2 yards from the tank, who the other toons follow.

Put that item on the Jamba item bar, click your follow key, then click your Jamba item key and bam, all toons have the quest item or whatever.
no more targetting.
looks really promising

I am very used to iwt looting on slaves and autotrading between them to consolidate the slaves bags when farming or grinding instances all day long over and over. Its just muscle memory now to have the characters round robin iwt loot or all iwt loot at the same time.

Anyways the lootarang gave me "that would be stealing, you dont have permission to loot that" when used on collisions with tailor/skinning mobs that not all the slaves had and ate the cooldown. So I end up spending more time looting dorking around than if I just had the slaves cope with it.

It might have a more useful place in pvp like mentioned above or on some !@#$% mob that dies after its feared from a dot where you cannot get to it.

So glad I got skinning on two toons up to 450. Can drop skinning on my main instead of enchanting to pick up the 125 eng. :P
