I am dual boxing mages and have 3 questions:
1. Every like 5 minutes my slave will stop following, what causes this? How can I fix it?
2. Sometimes my mage isnt faceing the right way, not to bad of an inconveniece to move, but Is there a way to fix this?
3. My mages are very squishy and its hard to get away from fire, What would be the best healer for 2 mages in pvp?
thanks

1. Slave get stuck? No, then you moved the slave which stopped follow, or you have very bad lag or you went through a phased area.
2. Move your main so the follow slave turns to face the correct way or use click to move/interact with target or get a focusing lens.
Dark Jade Focusing Lens
3. No idea. I used to like priest holy nova, went well with mage, but that last expansion and not PVP. Disc priest - penance?

Also, any channeled spell will interrupt follow.
Things like Penance or Arcane Missiles.
As stated by Jafula, phase lines usually break follow.
Melee combat will also break it.
Jamba can warn you when follow breaks.
You have the option to use Strobe follow, which is like typing /Follow every 1-3 seconds (configurable).
If you go with Strobe, you can switch the strobe target and disable strobe too.
Or like me, don't use strobe but have a very easy to access Follow macro and press it often.
I use a mouse thumb button.
For a PvP Healer...
If you want mobility, probably Disc Priest or Resto Druid.
If your style is stand in place and nuke, then Shammy because of all the buffs you get from the totems, plus the single and aoe heals are all strong.
