Mass migration - Making progress

When I first came to KilJaeden to join Legion of Boom I figured I would end up just moving 1 team (Level 80 Shamans) because of the huge expense ($125 server move plus $175 faction change).

After setting up RAF incorrectly I contacted Blizzard support and this guy helped me get it fixed and was really kind. So, I sent his supervisor a kudos for hiring this guy and while I had his attention asked about a possible deal moving my old toons (total of 40) from Magtheridon Horde to Kil'Jaeden Alliance. They gave me a deal that if I buy one service they will give me one service for free. There is no time limit on it so I can do just one toon or team a month if I like.

So far I have moved my shamans, hunters, druids and locks. I figure I will probably move my rogues and pallies next and maybe a single DK next and call it done.

As far as leveling with RAF goes got my hunters to 40 or so. Rogues to around 30. Pallies to 34. Locks to 40. And shaman to 40 or so. Priests somewhere around level 25

Having fun but can't wait to get all these teams to a high enough level where Horde will stay away from me. They see my lowbies and know they are on a suicide mission but just want to keep me busy killing them and res'ng the lowbies.

That's awesome that they offered you a deal. I contacted Blizzard a few times trying to get a deal when I was moving my toons (less than 10) to KJ and I never got anything but the canned stock response.

I think I got totally lucky! I couldn't justify paying $275 per team but could if it was just $125. I will be done with the moves after payday! :)

Got my rogues moved and invited to the guild. Got 4 ret pallies moved but am going to wait to faction change them after they move my pally tank and dk tank to a new account (i want the tanks to have their own account so I can run everyone else through dungeons and raids). After the last two are moved I am done! I left behind 5 mages that I really ended up hating to play and 4 dks are going to stay on the old server.

So, here are what I hope to have at level 85 one day in the not so near future

Priests 5 (may do 5 more)

When I got to 35 level 80s I got struck by the mount bug. This is not so much a WoW code bug as a bug that infects the user's brain.

It has caused me to farm Talbuks and Wintergrasp Tigers on all my toons, then make sure they all had green, red, or blue proto-drakes, then get them all blue/black/red drakes, and I'm almost finished getting them all Netherdrakes.

BEWARE THE MOUNT BUG!!

With the number of toons you have I'm not sure it would allow you time to eat and sleep at all! :eek:

I called them up today to ask if I could do something similar, just like Svper I got the canned response.

I am not sure at this point whether im going to transfer any more people. I am leaning towards no. I would need to transfer 4 more people to get the group composition I want and theyd be at weird levels, 2 would be at 84, 2 at 80, and 1 at 71... i think ill just stick to what im doing and that way everyone can level up naturally together ... im 42 already so almost through the old world grind. Things get better for questing etc when I get to outlands so I just need to keep with it.
