I - like I suspect many - will be dusting off my team and getting back into wow after some time away in anticipation for Cataclysm.
I always used Keyclone, but can see that there a few new options these days(Mainly ISBoxer and HKN). Wanted to get a feel for what people are using and why? My need is same as before - run a 5man PvE focused team that mostly quests and does 5man dungeons.

I would recommend ISBoxer, mainly because of the Repeater Regions for "remote controlling" the healer's healing addon. That was my reasoning to change from Octopus and i didn't regret it at all.
Btw. I'm also doing 5man PvE mostly.

I still use Octopus as I've just never had a need for anything else considering what I do. Were I interested in lots of PVP or doing really hard content, I'd probably switch to ISBoxer just for the few added features that help certain aspects of that.

Any discussions with GM's on ISBoxer? Any issues come up? ISBoxer looks pretty sweet - but any issues with it considered as something more than just keystroke broadcasting?
I am not opposed to change, just know there are no worries with keyclone (but also know it has some limitations as well). Saw some nasty posts on ISBoxer, but probably same trolling as was against multiboxing back in the day.

I use HKN. I love how much I can configure things and I actually really enjoy getting down in there and writing my scripts. I've yet to think of something I want to do that I couldn't find a way to code.

I try to stay out of threads like these but I can answer that.
Highly recommend this read: http://isboxer.com/index.php/is-isboxer-allowed
But in short, ISBoxer is well known and has been in use for about 2 years now in many games (WoW, EQ1, EQ2, Vanguard, Aion, LOTRO, DDO, EVE to name a handful). Blizzard is well aware of it and "tolerates it" the same as all other multiboxing software. (Same for the other listed games and their publishers) You can find plenty of trolling about ISBoxer from random people, but the fact is that nobody's been banned for using it, lots of people use it, and there's no indication that that's going to change. Warden is not stopped from identifying Inner Space or ISBoxer, so if they wanted to ban for it they could have done it by now.
If you want GM conversations, GM's don't generally know the specifics on multiboxing (some do) or what a particular piece of software does, and will give the same guarded answer for pretty much any software. If they think it sounds like a hack, they will refer you to the EULA (as they are trained to do). They can't give an official "yes" on any software for legal reasons -- saying yes is a legal liability because Blizzard has no control over the function of third party software (software not created by the first or second parties -- you and Blizzard). A GM said "keyclone is fine" but this is a fluke and is also taken out of context. But anyway, feel free to do an in-game petition/help request and ask away. Lots of people already have but I don't have a link for you ;)

I use HotKeyNet and love it. Simple, free, powerful.

If you want a complete package, probably the most powerful software out there, go with IS Boxer.
I too started out with Keyclone, and as far as broadcasting keys, it is very decent.
IS Boxer has Repeater Regions, or areas where the mouse auto broadcasts when it is within the area.
Combine that with an addon like Grid/Healbot/Vuhdo for click based healing, and you have a strong/easy method to heal.
You can do Repeater Region heals, with any software and a HKN script, see this: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showpost.php?p=303094&postcount=11
IS Boxer/HKN can also do, "Send Next Click". You attach this to a hotkey which a ground click spell (Hurricane/Blizzard, etc), move the mouse on the slave screens/main screen in real time, and click instantly on all of them. Far superior to anything else.
Mapped Keys for IS Boxer are incredibly powerful. You can have the active window only, the non-active windows (slaves), all windows, members of a pre-defined group (Action Target Group) as the target of the action. There is incredible flexibility to do almost anything you want with these. If I was picking a single feature of IS Boxer as the strongest, I'd have to go with the mapped key system.
There is instant window switching, like Keyclones PiP swaps. Except they're instant. As fast as you can press the swap key or move the mouse to the slave windows and click.
You get automatic FTL assist. Just drag spells to any of the default buttons (1 through 0 and - and =) on each of your toons, no macros needed. On any toon, press your key and have them all cast whatever is on that key at the same target as the lead/active toon.
Lots of features that rock.

Agreed, isboxer does a lot of out of the box work. However I have already done that stuff or it doesn't apply (pvp).
Sure a few features of isboxer are missing (make toggles optionally reset based on a timer for example). But I don't have any issues understanding what is going on, I can swap team members into raid and go. I can play those same characters single box and so forth.
That said I would rather code up my own unit frame (or fork someone elses) than use someone elses specifically for boxing.

I used Keyclone for a couple years and upgraded recently to ISBoxer. I wish I would have upgraded sooner. I absolutely love it. Nothing against Rob/Keyclone though.
