Hey all,

Moved my team to a new server today, and while logging in I noticed I don't seem to have a lot of my settings... Mostly addons, not sure if ISBoxer will be out of sync as well.

Never really paid attention before, but what/where should I go and what files do I need to copy such?

Oh and as an added twist had to rename a couple characters, so I'm guess that will take some tweaking as well or maybe that is what is causing problems...

And while I'm asking about things like this, I realized I should probably back up the these important files for addons and ISBoxer stuff.

Any key files I should make sure to grab/copy/backup?

Thanks much!

Tyval

%WoW Folder%\WTF\Account\%Account Name%\Server Name\Character Name\Folders in bold should be changed. Any addons that save profiles based on "Character - ServerName" may need to have the
profile reloaded in game, but you may have to reload them all if they have profiles. That's all I can think of at the
moment.

However, if you've only moved some characters you will need to copy the contents of those same folders into the newly
created folders for the new server.

So got things mostly back to normal.

Having a few characters have to change names added a bit of complication.

Jamba must save stuff in another location which I guess makes since as it manages characters from different accounts. So when I logged in things went to default settings. I was able to load settings from the old char-account and then push those out so that was easy enough.

I wasn't sure the best way to change things on ISBoxer, so created a new team, but looking further it seemed easy enough to change the character names etc. on the old team so ended up doing that. I did notice I had lost my repeater region once I had my team going, but that was easy enough to set up as well.
Not really sure why that went away...

So looks like I'm back and running on my new server, I did have a couple questions though.

It has become clear I need to back all this stuff up. I have some questions on what exactly I need to back up.
1) backup the WTF accounts folder.
2) ISBoxer - what do I need to copy/backup to get my current settings on a new system?
3) Jamba- Seems it is saving things in some other location? what do I need to copy/save to reset Jamba on a new machine?

pretty much I'm looking at what I should save/copy for say setting up on a new computer, or recovering from a hard drive failure.

Thanks for your help.

The file ISBoxerToolkitProfile.xml has most of the stuff you need.
Not sure where Repeater Regions are stored.

Addons can save to two locations.

World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SERVERNAME\TOONNA ME\SavedVariables
World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SavedVariables

Jamba saves in the second location.

If you back up these three folders you will have everything basically:

\interface\addons

\wtf\account

wherever you put your innerspace folder

You need the addons folder cause Isboxer has some infos there, I suspose you could just do the IsBoxer subfolder.
