Anyone see any notes about this change? I'm hoping it's not intended, but I'm fearing that it was with the advent of rated BGs on the horizon.

To clarify: You may no longer queue for ANY BG with more than 5 people.

Kinda sucks when I want to PVP with a few friends from my guild...

Doesn't that seem to be counter to the idea of 10v10 and 15v15 rated BG teams?

Yeah, this isn't making any sense. Personally, if this change is true then I love it. That would mean I no longer have to convince someone on the server to take my toons and instead I can continue queueing like normal for rated BGs. I think the OP is wrong.

With rated BGs, I was planning on Qing for just non-rated BGs, since it would be hard to find a solid team that wants to take a boxer.

However, if there are rated BGs only AND you can only Q 5 at a time, I can see some fall out from this.

Boxers will continue to Q as normal, but since it is rated the players will instantly blame the boxer for the loss. They already do that now, even if its true or not. With it being rated, I can see these same people screaming louder and louder until Blizzard does something about it.

Maybe I'm just paranoid.

And have to.

But cannot go higher than the group size.
For non-rated.

My assumption is that there is a error message that is tossing an exception to people joining non-rated bgs as a raid, in order to avoid the qq-fest of noobs trying to join normal bgs as if they are rated. And to avoid using non-rated bgs as a remade murder fest by rated teams. So now a non-rated bg can just have a group of premade people join it, but not a entire raid.

Randoms always had this 5 man cap, so maybe its just a glitch where someone missed a line when they were fixing things up for the patch.
