Well, every team I have so far has been mainly PvP oriented, except when I was running my DK/4 shaman group in the beginning of Wrath. I've since made it a 5 shaman team for WG, and along with my new 5 mage team, I have PvP covered. I don't really like my priest/4 locks team as much. Seem too squishy and immobile compared to the shammies and mages. So they're going to be leveled for professions.

Well, with Cata, I'm going to have a PvE only team in addition to those. Starting with my DK (who is 80) since Blood seems to be highly regarded for a tank now. I rolled a cow pally last night and he'll be my healer. I've never played a pally, huntard, or rogue. I don't want a melee team, so I'm thinking at least one undead hunter. Suggestions on 2 more DPS? I'm trying to go with stuff I haven't tried, hence the pally and hunter.

I went with cow pally (holy), troll druid (boomkin), UD hunter (dunno yet, haven't put any talent points in yet), and orc mage (probably fire, I have a frost mage PvP team). Currently running SFK with my 80 mage boosting. Looks like it may be interesting.

Also, has anyone noticed the dungeon quest givers are right inside the instances now? I thought that was nice.

Also also...I highly recommend you Hordies go to the new Silverpine Forest. It's pretty cool now, with a hub between UC and the Sepulchre (and a flight path).

ill have to try silverpine out. is there any particular reason why you went with all different races?

Just going for the combinations we couldn't have before (UD hunter, etc.) and I wanted something completely different than what I've used (DK/4 shammies, etc).

ahhh ic :p
I was thinking about making a rogue team with 1 of every race(since there are 5 available for horde) in cata.
just imagine 5 different rogues just ambush u. It would just be random

My roommate is running different classes and races.
I believe his team is: Frost DK, Feral Druid, Holy Pally, 2x Ret Pallies.

And they're each in their own guild.
Which is a different approach.

hmmmm I'm going to move my characters into the same guild for the new bonuses come cata. I'm just wondering how quickly a boxer could reach the Guild REP cap (was it a daily or weekly?) because getting an extra 10% of the gold i loot appear in my guild bank is a nice touch while im setting my self up.

That's really neat. I started as a 5race 5class, but have since race changed them all to Dwarf (the only worthwhile alliance race)
You might have more fun letting the Troll be a kitty. I did that for close to a year. No they're not optimized DPS because you can't possibly keep up with the "priority algorithm" that is kitty DPS in a multibox way, but they were pretty easy to either do a standard rotation or hit a different button for tiger's fury/swipe swipe swipe. You can even do a /cast [nocombat] pounce at the beginning of a macro so you don't have to wait for them to run up.
As for others talking about the guild thing, I've got 4 in one guild and one in another (f@#$ knows what for) but I find I do get a bonus icon for having 4 from the same guild in one group.
Sounds like you're gonna have some fun, enjoy!

I'm fairly happy with:
#show
/castsequence reset=target Mangle(Cat Form), Rake(Cat Form), Mangle(Cat Form), Mangle(Cat Form), Rip(Cat Form)
/cast Tiger's Fury

For bosses, repeat that sequence but most likely go with Ferocious Bite in the place of Rip. If a mob is at or below 25%, the bite (talented) will refresh the Rip. Even without any FB in there, Rip is very good DPS. Bleeds ignore armor, and are physical so much harder to dispel.

^^toss in at the end of your macro another mangle and savage roar. You'll get another 500-1000 dps. I don't keep tf in my macro. I wait ti rip lands and hit tf on another button. Better dps that way, and you don't overfill/ waste the energy u gain. Tf will fire at start your way and burn out by the time your rip lands
