I've been doing a bit of personal research into the viability of 10 boxing raids in cataclysm, and I was curious about what other people here think of the possibility of success.

Having not looked at any of the Cataclysm raids, take this with a grain of salt.
Looking at the amount of movement needed for ICC 10, and the ability for that to be boxed.

Chances are you'll be able to box a lot of Cataclysm 10-mans.
Classes have tools to heal or DPS while moving.
While movement can be a pain, it doesn't shut us down now.

But of the raids in WotLK, not many could be 10-boxed, until the content was outgeared.
You might end up able to box half or a third of the content.

Even still, you could do 10-man rated battlegrounds.
And eventually rise/fall till you're going against those with equal ratings, which should make for relatively fair matches.
And that would allow you to run two 5-man runs if you wanted, teaming up with another boxer.

The only thing that really concerns me about the first boss in BoT is all the fire you have to move out of >.<

There were a couple of patches for WotLK when we were sure the new content was unboxable but someone eventually worked it out. I'm curious about this too. Just about the time I decided 10 boxing wasn't worth it someone would bust through content and give me hope.

currently building my 2nd 5m team to 10 box i have given this alot of thought.

Having been a hard core raider since vanilla and boxer since release of wotlk the only type of raid content that would discurrage me is ULDUAR gauntlet type of raid boss.

otherwise all other content is "thoretically" doable.

Fyi ULDUAR gauntlet is where you need to split your raid in 2 essentially it like running 2 5 man teams in different instances simultaneously without ever pausing.

there are a few other types of raid encounters that could be near to impossible, like halion and dreamwalker.

haveing said that, i wont be so bold to say others are easy, but they are not discuraging me from trying, but if CATA will have 50% ulduar gauntlet type of encounters i will most likely not even try them without friends.

I've never done Ulduar so you may very well be correct that it's impossible to multi box, but I have a feeling that with fight specific macros one person could control two teams doing seemingly independent fights. Luckily with ISBoxer you could switch in these specific fight macros with ease.
