MMO-C is saying 4.0.3a will go live tomorrow. Which means today is the last day of the expansion.

What are you doing on the last day before the end of the world (of warcraft) as we know it?

I plan to duo ZG one last time, later tonight if I can get online at a reasonable hour, damn RL obligations. Not really hoping for the mounts, but to see an instance one last time as it was.

Actually, I plan to do some of the harvest festival stuff while waiting for the elemental attacks and port my toons out of dalaran and re-hearth to the capital citys.

Anyone know why they removed portals in Dal? Did they remove the ones Shatt? So if we are in Northrend, do we have to take boats back to IF/SW?

They will be removing both Dalaran and Shat portals with this mini patch so if you are in outland or icecrown, you will need to get back by some other means. Tirn-kor port rings will be worth a little bit more for quick trips back to dalaran etc. Also the dragon can eat you for a feat of strength as well.

At to why they are doing it? Because they can and they dont want 90% of the players of both factions to sit in the same spot.

I relocated a couple of low-level characters from Dalaran to old-world locations. I assume that as of tomorrow, those characters would probably be relocated automatically and set to a local hearth location, but I figured I'd prefer to determine that myself ahead of time. Would be mildly amusing if lowbies were left in Dalaran or Shattrath with no easy way to get home, heh.

As for what I plan to do tonight, no idea really. Looking forward to the old-world revamp and running quests with my team of level 31 (almost 32) warlocks. I have a level 21 shaman on a fifth account and am considering leveling her to 31/32 to lead the team. I'm starting to fight the desire to try and take it all in at once. Figure another year or two before the next expansion, plenty of time to see all/most of Cataclysm and no need to rush.

Now that I think about it, maybe I'll just ride around the new zones and take in all the changes. I was thinking of holding off on that until they add old-world flying on the 7th, but it would be a fun and laid back thing to do.

ill be getting a group of friends together to hit up some old world glitches and bugs before the world changes (old wall climbing spots that are still doable). for instance, i know were gonna be getting underneath org for a large group photo. if anybody wants to know how to get underneath org, post here and ill write a quick walkthrough so u can see it before its gone

DId ZG for the last time. STILL NO MOUNTS. I did end up getting both of the hunter fist weapons that turn you into a tiger, which was lucky since I only did the panther boss once.

Did the Mechanical chicken quests on a team. Still 2 teams left to do, not sure if this is going away or not.

Got Hero of the Zandalar Tribe on my "main". Just in time =)

Will probably get my lowbies bound to IF at the last minute. Not sure how ppl are going to easily do the Magister's Terrace/Blue Bird runs if they don't have a mage.

Edit: Also polymorph pig spells for the 4 mages.

I can't decide on just canceling my other accounts or moving some characters off to a single account them before canceling. I hate the current changes to tanks and heals.... all of the "proc" related casts are intended to screw multiboxers and macro users over. The phasing crap that they aren't fixing but making more of.

WTF? i don't have any issues with macros at all. Have you tried enough and read the macro thread (from Mercurio for example)

I'm now going to bed after spending the last evening before cataclysm (eu server), so I can now answer the question :p I helped someone kill Ragnaros in MC so he could complete the last steps of his quest line for Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker (http://www.wowhead.com/item=19019). Just made a new friend and had the opportunity to watch a nice and rare event. Well I guess that was as good as anything else :p
