No saving up rested

They said what I thought, but just couldn't prove it, you can't level to 79.(something) and save up rested.

I wonder if you have to login to start the accumulation. I've upgraded all accounts, but will be on a business trip for the first 4-5 days post-launch.

It would be a nice present to come back home with some rested going...

I would add the expansion and then log in, after that you should start receiving rested bonus.

Rested xp accumulated pretty fast in WotLK. If Cata is anything like it, it should be easy to keep your characters running in rested exp most of the time.

To be honest, if you are questing the whole way to 85 rested vs. not rested really will not have a large impact due to most XP coming from the quest reward when multiboxing. I have only felt the loss of rested XP when solo leveling.

Thanks for that post, means i can level my pve team to 80 :) instead of 79,9.

One week of inactivity in either an inn or a city, gets you maximum (1.5 levels) of rested.
At least unless they changed the rate of accrual.

I'm gonna have to agree with this...although rested xp is rather nice to have. I plan on griefing people in hyjal the first couple days of the xpac anyways :)
