Click Healing, not working in combat.

I have setup all of the modifiers, and regions. But I notice one thing isn't working...

There is a photo of my UI.

All of the spells are set on the priest, and the regions are there...

ALL of the heals work when not in combat, but what's strange is as soon as I am in combat, the Shift Region stops working all together.

Get out of combat, and it's all peachy keen again. I tried changing the modifiers in game and in ISBoxer to Control + Shift, but the same issue is happening.

Any ideas?

Out of combat, everything (normal repeater heals and shift added heals) works fine.
Do the normal heals work in combat, or is everything off?

What program are you using for your click healing. Is it healbot as in the guide, or clique/vuhdo? If it is healbot then I can't really help you, but my initial thought was that if it is working fine ooc then it is probably set up fine. I know that with clique and vuhdo I can select different spells to be cast depending on whether the toon is in or out of combat. If this is not the case with healbot, then I am of no help to you sorry.

Out of combat, everything (everything) works fine. Which is what I find most baffling.

What happens for the Shift Region:

OOC:
Casts all the spells, and works great.

IC:
Ignores the modifier, and either targets the player I tried to heal. Or opens the options menu.

One thing I did notice, is that it seems as if the priest is still trying to assist the main window.

I am using Clique with oUF Unit Frames. So not using either Healbot or Vuhdo (I don't like the aesthtics of either of them... I know, but I am picky!)

To check whether it is the (shift) region that is broken...
Can you shift click on the normal region, while in combat, and have the shift click action occur?

I have a straight repeater region, which passes everything to my healer or healer group.
And use Grid + Grid Custom Layouts for the unit frames.
And Clique to interpret clicks.
I commonly use Alt + left, Alt + right, Ctrl + left and Ctrl + right, as my clicks to heal with.

Try both.

Curious if the shift click is broken > the addon.
The broadcast of the shift click > the repeater region.
Or the region which is supposed to become a shift click when clicked in normally > the adding of the modifer to a region.

Well I can get on to the slave, and spam my DPS while healing perfectly fine.

Hop on the main window, and the same problems from before.
IC:
All but Shift works.

OOC:
Everything is fine.

Same goes for changing the modifiers.

So in combat... from both the normal region and the special region which adds Shift to the clicks... the shift clicks are not being passed.

If you use Alt or Ctrl, are those modifiers passed, or are they blocked as well.
From say the Tank or a DPS's window, and in combat.. since that is the issue for Shift clicks.

From the Tank's PoV:

In Combat:
Control passed
Alt passed
Shift failed

Out of Combat:
All pass

From the healer's PoV:
Everything passes, because I press the keys manually and not going through the regions.

Well, that narrows it to the shift region probably.

I think it probably would, if the alt and ctrl are passed fine in combat.

Since you're making a region and clicking there, without modifiers...
Would an alt region or ctrl region pass correctly?

Guessing you'll likely need Lax's input to solve why the Shift thing isn't working.
He came up with that as a solution for Muffinman, when he posted on the isboxer site.

So I changed the modifiers to Control + Alt instead of shift, and it seems to work.

Going to run a heroic, and see how we go.

And, it now works perfectly.

So for one reason or another, the Shift Modifier is not being sent properly.
