Hi,
I succesfully boxed 2 chars in Lotro. Now with f2p gone live in Europe, I'd like to 6box. I tried setting up everything, but I can only launch 2 clients succesfully. From the third client on, I get the 'Can't bind local socket' error. I changed the userspecifiedport and computeuniqueport.
Any tips?
thanks in advance

Hello
First off are you using Innerspace/ IS Boxer, that's the easiest way to box LOTRO. Its $36 a year but well worth it as Lax does an excellent job of updating and supporting the software. If not you're probably hardware boxing, in that case you can only run two clients to your main lotro folder, beyond that I would copy that folder for each client you are trying to use. You already did the unique port option, so beyond virtual files I believe thats the only way you can get 6 clients going. Be sure to have enough HD space, as the folder is 18gigs I think... now.

I second the recommendation for Innerspace/ISBoxer for boxing lotro. It is a game changer.

Thriced! Third'd! Tertiaried!
Sure, none of those are actually words but you can catch my drift.
I recently made the switch from HotKeyNet to IS/ISBoxer. So far, I have been very impressed. The only thing I've found lacking (that can be done with HKN) is the ability to send entire strings to each client's chat window.
Though, in all honesty, all this is hampering is my ability to quickly set up my fellowship--it's just manual now.

I'm using ISboxer to 6 box on 2 seperate computers with no issues. Actually started up a new rounded group recently as well. :)

Make sure with innerspace, when adding the game, to put "-usetdm" without the quotes in the paramters section. I'm able to 6 box, but my issue is that my 6th character shows up on a seperate instance. I'm not sure if I will continue boxing lotro, as I find the UI a little clunky and not so intuitive compared to EQ2.
