You should see a new link up in the header, NEW! Multiboxing Streaming Video (http://www.dual-boxing.com/multiboxing-streaming-video.php)

If you would like to have your stream added here, please send me a PM with a link to your stream. You need to be pretty active on it, over time I'll be removing people that aren't active and adding people that are.

Mosg2 and Void are our first guinea pigs for this!

Edit:

I'd really prefer the following streaming sites:

optimal: Ustream.com -> free ad-supported hi-def streams.
mediocre: livestream / xfire -> Not great quality but watchable
last resort: justin.tv -> Some concerns have been raised, won't completely discount this from being used until an actual issue arises.

I stream pretty often on justin.tv. What concerns are there about the site?

If someone can help me get ISBOXER to work with streaming then i'd be happy to stream.

there is a really good guide on the "other" site to setting up streaming. It's independent of ISBoxer since you basically use a webcam emulator (VHScrCap) and justin.tv. I'll stream a little now so you can see how it looks.

I dont even know what the "other" site is. LOL

Isn't that streaming full desktop though? VHScrCap?

Edit: found it... jesus that site is terrible.

I don't stream my full desktop with VHScrCap.

I just happen to like streaming my whole desktop. It allows viewers to see my slave windows and when I switch. To each their own though :)

own3d.tv is a popular stream site as well. A lot of the Starcraft 2 players use it to stream and shout-cast tournaments.

If you look at http://www.teamliquid.net You can see under the calendar a list of streams that are live by the users. They have it set up to where you can put your stream into your profile it will show up there in that list when your stream goes live. That way you will only see live streams and not just a long list of stream links that may or may not be live.

Im not sure how hard it would be to implement something like that, but it will save you all the time of having to monitor streams for activity, and it will only show the community active streams.

If anyone thinks they have enough hardware to stream in full HD (720p minimum), hit me up.

I run my own streaming network. You'll need flash media live encoder thats all....

I likely do.

JustinTV has the upside of having the absolute minimum possible negative influence on your performance while streaming. I like it.

Super was probably referring to how Justin is balls deep in with Facebook. Any site like that always makes me suspicious. I'm starting to log into sites now that were totally private such as Photobucket and they now know my real name from fuckbook.

In a time when we should be protecting our privacy. Companies keep making it easier and easier for the criminals.

Anyway. I've watched Justin TV many times in the past without problems. The danger of divulging all your personal FB info is still there though.

Haha that's ridiculous--I totally didn't know that.

I've just accepted that in this age anyone who wants to come up with a complete dossier on me can probably do it in less than an hour.

Nah, multi-boxers are the victims of too much nerd rage to just willingly offer their identity out to someone. Anyone ever heard of 'Anonymous'? Scares the crap out of me.

My Justin.tv account is linked to a WoW only account, but you definitely have valid concerns if you're using the same email address as you FB account!

I'm using ustream now, and I'm trying to figure out how to make the broadcast a bit more legible/clearer - right now, I'm rather pixelated, despite having set it to show the highest quality.

Ideally, I'd like people to be able to at least have SOME idea of what NPCs I'm talking to or what quests I'm doing. Any ideas?

Use Justin.tv. Very clear feeds.

I have work things to do until Saturday, but afterwards I'll likely be streaming a ton with the priests. I had been active when I was seeing how well atonement worked, but since it's all boring content I thought I was boring watchers after everything was easy mode. With the new content there should be some fun priest multiboxing things to show on my stream www.Justin.tv/owltoid
