Any ideas on possibly making my slaves pick different enemy targets and doing a CC spell?
Ex: 5 enemies, each get rooted. I think I could come up with maybe current target, last target, and one nearest target.
Is there another way?

You can have them Focus the leader's target.
And then CC their Focus, possibly with conditions.
Spur of the moment..
- /Targetenemy vs /Targetenemyplayer (the latter will not target npc's or pets).
If it's arena, you can target via arena frame number.

I usually round robin CC via the multiplexer, then use a meta key for notarget CC that (assumes their current target) for the 'everyone CC their current target', and a different metakey for "all CC" (where people might be dead / los / CC'ed themselves or what not).

I'll have to do some playing around with it.

I was thinking about /assist main /focus x 2 or 3 bound to like ctrl Z X C
Then have 3 seperate macro's that are like /cast [@focus] CC bound to shift.
So you can have 3 chars have 3 different focusses with 3 seperate CC's bound, though easily pressed all at once.

I've also messed around with a Set Focus Macro, on round-robin.
And then another macro for Cyclone [Target=Focus,Harm,Nodead].

If you assist x (so all have the same target) then
toon 1) /cast
toon 2) /targetenemy
toon 3) /targetenemy 1
toon 4) /targetenemy then /targetenemy again
toon 5) /targetenemy 1 then /targetenemyh 1 again
You will get 3 different targets for sure and probably 5 different targets.

Well, I'm going to assume that in Cataclysm you will not have to CC more than 2 mobs at a time in 5-mans. My plan is a 3-button approach. Since I dont use Focus with any of my teams, I will be utilizing it for CC as such:
Tank targets 1st mob to be CC'd and I hit Ctrl+F1 which my Mage will have this macro'd to that function:
/assist party1
/focus target
Tank targets 2nd mob to be CC'd and I hit Ctrl+F2 which my Shaman will have the same macro set for that function.
Then before pull, I will hit Ctrl+F3 which will have the following macros tied to it on the CC toons:
/cast target=focus sheep
/cast target=focus hex
BAM!

I was planning the exact same thing except using shift for my mod key and setting up 4 CC options [F1-F4] just in case i needed them.

I forgot to add that i was going to assign raid target icons for the CC targets with shift [F1-F4] on my master also. I am not sure if you can macro the target assign or if i will have to bind the keys.

Have the same set up as Kalros.
Except that it is a round-robin key.
Tank targets mob A.
I press my hotkey, which sends that keybind to Toon A.
Toon A - FTL Assists tank, sets target as their Focus, and announces in /Party their Focus.
Tank targets mob B
Next press of the key, Toon B does the same.
Resets back to the first step, after I believe 10 seconds without anything being assigned.
Then a key to /Cast Whatever @Focus.
Was thinking of raid icons.
But you cannot place them on hostile players.
And I want the system to work for everyone.
Could go with them, and something to suppress the error message.
That would work.
Or alternatively, just go separate keys for the marking -- although my toons don't have issue with improper assisting or being on the right target.
