OK so normally i just do this with my desktop and laptop. running one account on the desktop and the other on my laptop (both are mine and both are in my name) But it seems way too inneficient. So have decided to try dual boxing. I read somewhere on here too not ask questions until we search first. I have done some searching and cannot find an answer to my question. So i am going to ask it, and hope i don't get flamed. lol.

I am currently lvling a resto druid on my second account, using a demo warlock on my main account for the RAF. I want to be able to have the warlock as my "main" while having my resto druid as the "slave." How do i go about doing this? How can i set up to where i can be in control of my warlock and be able to cast heals on my resto druid without alt-tabing back and forth. I have Jamba and i believe i have it set up (even though the follow doesn't seem to work right.).

I apologize if this is posted elsewhere and i seem to have missed it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

On another note, i only want to do this questing, not dungeons or bg's

Have you, Kedash, followed this link? Everything on that page is completely dead. Don't worry, hopefully the new Wiki will
be finished before Jan 2011.

Anyway...

To the OP:

You did not search for very long if you could not find how to accomplish the very first basic step in multiboxing, which is getting
your slaves to /follow your master. Here are the first few steps:

1. Choose a software broadcasting solution [There are many threads already on this]
2. Watch/Read any tutorials affiliated with the software you've chosen
3. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask on this forum
4. ????
5. Profit

The free software options are HKN, AHK, and Octopus. The pay options are Keyclone, Game Commander Pro and IS Boxer. Of these, imo IS Boxer is the best and HKN is the next best; but an opinion is subjective. Most will give you a trial period to see if you like them for yourself.

IS Boxer has FTL assist, which means when you press '1', they will all auto assist the active character (can switch between characters freely) and also press '1'. No need for assist based macros of your own, just drag spells onto the hotbar.

Focus based assist is probably the easiest if you go with another software option. Basically, if you have five toons then you need five assist hotkeys. Each toon (on the same keybind) will have /Focus ToonA (using your first character's name here). If you switch to ToonC, you press the macro for ToonC to become everyone's focus. Then your spells are: /cast [Target=FocusTarget] Spell Name. Or /Follow [Target=Focus]

IsBoxer just blows everything else out of the water.

You would be unwise to consider any other options.
