Easy way to level cooking to 350 on Nov 21-27th

Just wanted to point this out, the "Pilgrims Bounty" event starts on Nov 21st.

You can buy about 5 different recipes that will level you up to 350 cooking. You can buy all the mats from the vendor except for the last recipe (280+), where you need to kill these turkeys.

I know when Wrath first came out, you had to do cooking quests to get the Dalaran cooking awards to make the good food. So it might come in handy to get cooking up on all your alts.

Man, this is so sweet, only took me an hour to get to like 280 on 4 guys. With a mage it would probably take about 20 mins.

This is kind of the rub here. You get the turkey meat from Turkeys in Elowyn forest. Kind of annoying to have to compete vs everyone else trying to get the turkeys.

Another way to get them is to use the "Turkey Caller" that you get at the end of the Pilgrims Bounty quest line. This spawns a turkey wherever you are with a cooldown of 2 minutes. So doing some complex math, if you had a 5-box team this would mean 5 turkey meats per 2 minutes.

Well I did the quest to get the Turkey caller and so that made things easier.
My plan is just to level cooking on some of my main toons, i.e. tanks and healers, toons that will be in each team.

correct, i did my Turkinator achievement (40 turkeys) just by running in a big circle around brill
