Is it possible to upgrade a WoW free 10 day trial account online?

This is driving me bonkers...

I have 1 full paid account. I created three more free 10 day trial accounts. I was trying to create a 4th, and I got an error saying I could only have three free trial accounts. So , i set out to buy one. FFS, I can't find any upgrade online option anywhere?

You would think they would put a button in the account management page, let you pay, and give you a key... but I can't find that anywhere. All it says is to buy a retail copy and get the key. I went to blizzards online store, you would think they would provide that there. But the only thing is a Burning Crusdade online upgrade, when you try to do that, it says you have to have the classic copy first... so round and round I go.

I looked in my paid account to see if there was an option of adding additional accounts, nope, couldn't see that either?

Do I really have to drive down to the store to buy the freakin box for a key??? I must be missing something, please enlighten me :)

Another brilliant example of Blizzards lack of joined up thinking... hell last I looked the EU store was defunct... :(

Best bet if you want to stay warm and dry (and don't live in the sahara desert, though it'd be useful there I'd imagine) would be to buy the activation code online, only place I know that does it is: http://www.shatteredcrystal.com/code.php/world_of_warcraft However they seem to out of stock, their stock does refresh quite quickly so it might be worth keeping eye open. :S

I get my EVE online time cards from them and have yet to have any issue.

The reason why you can't create another trial is because there are too many trials being created from the same IP address. This is to prevent gold spammers. Go borrow a friend/neighbor/library's internet and create a trial thru there.

As for buying accounts online - you can buy BC directly from Blizz, but I highly recommend Shattered Crystal (www.shatteredcrystal.com ('http://www.shatteredcrystal.com/')). I had a problem with a BC key that I bought from them and they jumped thru hoops to fix it. They just buy the boxes, scan in the numbers into a database, and sell the cd keys online. They also can sell you both wow+bc for the battlechest price.



There's also direct2drive.com but they will limit you on how many keys you can buy.

If OP is EU based I will send him a trial key, and someone for example Vyndree could send him a US one if he's US/Aus/NZ based. Based on the fact that the OP was looking for a 4th/5th trial key in the OP.

Suvega and I, living in the same house/same internet, had this exact issue. Activated my trial (refer a friend FTW) at work, and fixed the entire thing. :)

I'm still scratching my head at why blizz doesn't do this but whatever...

I was leery of using a non-blizz place to get a key code based on info I read somewhere about some scams. I was at the store buying a new 22" monitor and G15 KB, so I just picked up 4 Battlechests for what seems to be the going rate of $39.99 and upgraded the three trials I had to TBC and added the 4th, so now I have the accounts I will need.

Now I just need to decide on the class makeup I wanted to go with and how to get them all working together. I bought Keyclone and I was just fooling around a bit last night, made my wee ones crew 2 fem gnome mages, 1 fem gnome lock, and a male dorf pali ( I sure wish they had a gnome healer class). I'm thinking of going with that set up since my druid is a pretty good tank and I know how to play him well ( 4/4 T4 as of last nights Gruuls run /point Magtheridon , your next!)

I'll have my box back in a few days, quad 4 6600 proc, 8600 GT vc, 4 gig ram, 1 24" + 1 22" lcd.
