So i've went through the setup wizard and made my Lotro setup. The problem i'm having is my mapped keys are not working.
I made a alias key in game
/alias add ;follow /follow
/alias shortcut ;follow 9
then i used keymap to make a keymap for
F2 (target leader)
9 (activate /follow)
I set it to num lock 1, `, and tab none of them worked. when i hit the trigger key the other accounts dont do anything. I did set that the macro's in isboxer should work on all windows but the one i'm on.
I tried doing a assist, and cast key for burning embers same problem. Something i'm missing here?
I did remember to export it to innerspace and restart all my clients before hand.
Hard to say what you might be missing without seeing your config. Instructions for sharing your config here: http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=13
Randomly guessing:
1. If you didn't run the Quick Setup Wizard and select LOTRO in the top Game box, there's 2 options in your Character Set that should be checked for LOTRO. They both say LOTRO in parentheses, and one of them not being checked would 100% cause the described issue
2. If you created a new Key Map to make your new Mapped Keys (hotkeys), then it needs to be assigned to your Character Set, or at least the Character that you want to use it from. If you select one or the other in the top pane (the Key Map or the Character Set), then in the bottom left pane you will see the other listed. i.e. select your Key Map in the top pane and you should see your Character Set listed in the bottom left. If it's not there, drag from the top pane to the bottom left pane
If that doesn't help, you should definitely share your config ;)

There is a default key in Lotro for assist that bound to "F" by default. No need to waste a slot.
I've had better luck splitting my select/assist into two keys, or using a PressAndRelease style key. One of the things in Lotro that needs a fraction of a second to do is changing targets. Doing two target changes (F2 followed by "F" for assist) needs just a hair more time. Setting up a key to send F2 on press, and F on release seems to work well for me.
Also bear in mind that if you ever do a skirmish or your leader has a pet, F2 will get tripped up on you minion. F2 once selects the character, then any further presses cycles through pets/soldiers. The easiest way to get around that is to send F1, then F2. F1 selects yourself first, forcing the F2 to select the character, and not the pet.

Also, there is no /assist command in LotRO. You have to use the key binding or the little target icon in the party frame to assist. There are multiple keybinds for assist too. One for each of the party members, one for fellowship maneuvers, and there might be one for raid assist, but that one I'm not sure about. This makes assisting more cumbersome than other games. For example, you can't make a macro for /assist Joe and always assist Joe. If Joe is the party leader, then the keybinding for assisting the party leader will work consistently, but if Joe isn't the party leader, then Joe may be party 2 for one character, party 5 for another character, and so on. For multiboxing in LotRO, you are pretty much forced to assist off of the party leader. The only other option is to use skill target forwarding, but as the party order isn't fixed, even that requires forwarding through the party leader.

Shadow - So would it be wise to set my action to on Press hit f1 and on release f2 to make sure my party leader is targeted and the second action as press f for assist?
Will assist in this game auto target the same thing my Main is targetting? I tried setting htis up and all it did was a emote where it said (char name) is assisting you!
maybe my macro was wrong?
Dezeral - I'm going to center it around my Party leader and hope they dont die lol. For now anyway to i get a little mor experience under my wings.

Just to echo what has been said earlier in the thread, there is no /assist command in LotRO (/assist is an emote). There are very few / commands in the game, no /target no /focus etc.
The default key for assisting your target is "F", so if you want to send the "F" key to the toons you want to assist. As long as your slave toons have your main toon targeted they will assist your main and acquire their target. Another option would be to send the keybind for assisting a specific party member rather than "F".
Another option is to enable Skill Target Forwarding, and if your slave toons keep your main targeted at all times any hostile abilities they use will automatically be executed on your main's target, and any friendly abilities will hit your main.
Personally I have all my toons target my main toon and use Skill Target Forwarding rather than assisting
