Hey!

I'm just starting to look into multiboxing, and i have a keyclone key from some time back.
What i was wondering was if i should use keyclone or HotKeyNet? I've tried both but cant decide really...
Also wondering if theres any way to send mouse clicks between windows like i do with the UseKeyAsModifier command in HotKeyNet, in Keyclone? dont wanna change windows every time i choose a quest reward etc :P

Cheers,
Sander.

its been quite sometime since i've used keyclone but there is a pass mouse feature in there somewhere. I used KC for about a year while dual boxing, worked great for 2 toons. When I added a 3rd account I wanted something a bit more configurable so I now use isboxer. I can't say enough good things about it, just read around the site a bit to get some more opinions, seems to be a # of fans for the 3 choices. I guess it comes down to needs/cost/ease of setup that your looking for.

regardless of which broadcast program you use you will want the Jamba addon. It handles quest accepts, reward selection and a whole lot of other things for you across your toons.

hope that helps a bit and happy boxing :)

HKN is a better product for dealing with mouse broadcasting.

Keyclone is easier to setup initially.

I agree with Mikekim. I used Keyclone for a year or so, moved to HKN for better mouse broadcasting. I've found HKN much more reliable for mouse broadcasting and I'm really happy that I took the time to learn it.

Thanks for the replies!
I have Jamba, but im having trouble making the slaves accept the quest which my master shares, so i went with the method where i make the slaves assist me when i have the quest mob targeted and then press a binding that makes em interact withthe target, tried every possible setup for the quest module and they simply wont accept the quests :(

I'm also having some trouble with the UseKeyAsModifier for mouse broadcasting in HKN atm, it seems to click just a littlebit off where i do on my master screen, so i have to click once to hit it on my masters screen then i have to guess where to click to hit it with my slaves, its not far off so i just have to click around the same area to get them to do it, but its kinda annoying.

As i really like the way u can customize HKN i think im gonna stick to that, just need to figure out how to fix this mouse thing :)

Cheers,
Sander.

For questing you need a keybind for Interact With Target and the Jamba addon. My quest accept/finish is like this...

1. on main select the questgiver
2. press the 'target main's target' button (macro on slaves)
3. press interact with target
4. on my main accept quest/etc and all my slaves do what my main does, jamba takes care of everything on the slaves

You could combine some steps but i like having a 'set target' for my slaves and interact on separate buttons (i use the first in combat and for other things).

I follow the same steps for flying... target on main, interact on slaves and just select a destination on main. The slaves select the destination automatically.

Hope it helps.

I used keyclone for years and never could get the mouse broadcast to work right so I ended up using hotkeynet just for targetted AOE spells and it worked pretty good. Since then I have switched everything to ISBoxer and wow. That mouse action is unbelievable. It is literally perfect if all the window resolutions are right.

ISBoxer if you are ok with paying.

HKN if you need a free solution.

Do you have a setview (http://www.dual-boxing.com/archive/index.php/t-18254.html) command for your slaves? If you adjust your camera view on the slaves to compensate for the difference between them and the master, it should help.
