here is an easy post for your reading pleasure (cata please come, I get bored...):

I am leveling alchemy on my slaves and can tell you the gold price for Golden Sansam, Kingsblood and Silverleaf if you wake me up at night and tell me the house is burning...

I have noticed a strange gold lever: I am willing to pay up to 50% base price premium if I can get a trade good stacked to 20 instead of clicking 20 times on single buyout

Is this just me or is there an opportunity to just buy singles and sell them as stack?

Yea, I'll normally spend a few extra gold for full stacks instead of spending three hours clicking single leaves. Especially when I'm leveling multiple toons.

There is a packaged goods premium on stacked stuff on the auction house? Now that's interesting. Makes sense on leveling goods I suppose, though. You don't want stacks of 3 or 6 or whatever, you want nice, easy stacks of 20. How well does this transfer to other items? I recall end-game enchant stuff selling for more indivividualy due to not wanting to store the stuff or resell the leftover mats back on the AH. Still, its about a 42.5% profit if you buy and resell at a 50% markup due to the AH taking their cut.

Its your time though.

If you use Auctionator you know you buyout singles really really fast?

It simpe tells you that there is 76 Infinite Dust on the AH at 1g ea. You click buy and then it asks how many stacks. You type in 76 and while you do have to click 76 times since 4.0.1 you dont have to really tynk about it.

But then you have to when you get them all out of the mail one at a time.

But with something like Postal.
You can click "open all".

That's why you use Postal (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/postal.aspx). Autoloots your entire mailbox and then autorefreshes your mailbox until the remaining mail shows up and loots that, too.

Ualaa is stealing my thundaaaarrrr! ;)

I don't think it works anymore - you have to click "buy another" - basically it pops up a box and says there are X of Y at Z gold, do you want to buy one? Then another button lights up saying "buy another" - it keeps track of how many you bought, but I believe the automatic buying is broken now.

omg, I want it - thanks !!

Checked th AH again - for a lot of trade items, singles start at 50-70%, while stacks start at 100-120%

With these two tools its no work to get them, stack them, resell them at premium...

Well for collecting mail my obvious choice is postal. But it takes 20x as long to loot 20 items over 1 stack of 20 in your mailbox. If you need a shitload of mats that starts to become a significant amount of time. Not to mention that you have to click 20x buyout vs 1 time for a stack. And i use both auctionator and postal.

Some AH addon is pretty much required. Same goes for Postal indeed. If you often mail big bulks of mats, then Bulkmail is such a musthave addons aswell:

An issue I run into:

I check the AH with APM (summary / glyphs / get data) to see the best selling glyphs. The option that displays if you have any type of glyph up and how many + if you have the lowest price is more or less key to my business. If I don't have a particular high market price glyph up, I tick it for each one, and after that I open my scribe book. Click APM in the upper right corner and I get the crafting queue + the mats needed.
This works very well for a single toon.

What I actually would like to see is that my scribe can also see if any alts / other accounts have glyph up in the AH. I.e. a list of names you can enter that should be taken into account. There is a similar feature to list auctions: you can enter a name that should not be undercut.

Anyone has found a better solution or workaround for this?

no WTB :D

I've read somewhere that it was possible to get the data from Altoholic i think it was into a craftaddon, forgot the name, but couldn't get it to work.

may I ask what APM is?

BTW, just installed postal and auctionator and really like them.

Postal is a must, period :) How could I have survived without...

I find auctionator a lot better than auctioneer (which I have been using for years), it focuses on the important questions. Looking into the forums, people claim that blizzard has changed the UI so that multiple buyouts at different prices are not possible anymore, just at the same price - hence the limitation of buying one by one. I think auctionator has solved this well with one click.

so glad I posted this question :)

I use both Auctioneer (suite) & Auctionator. Mainly because both have different functions & features. I can say that they can exist next to each other.
