I currently multibox using a gaming laptop. I know that desktops are better, but I am too lazy to give up my lazy boy recliner. I would love to switch to a desktop system if I could find a monitor/keyboard solution that I could operate like a laptop. Ideally, it would be a good monitor and decent keyboard that would have the look and feel of a laptop. But would connect via a cable to the gaming desktop that I could place next to my recliner.

Does anybody know if something like this is available?

Well a wireless keyboard, on your lap, would function quite a bit like a laptop.
Possibly look into a monitor mount, and position it near your recliner?

Uhhh. What you are looking for exists, but they are spendy. The ones I know of are designed for server support in rack setup solutions. And they do fold up just like a laptop. Most have all kinds of really neat features like the ability to do hardware based console redirection via tcp/ip.

Im sure if you look hard enough you might find something cheaper and more like what you want.

Get a projector and wireless/wired keyboard.
