Death grip - through grounding

Theres no way in hell that would be the purpose of a minor glyph lol. If a minor glyph makes a spell over-ride the effect of grounding totem, I'd be pissed.

On another note, considering they fix Death grip to be killed by the grounding totem, and you get the glyph of grounding totem which makes spells reflect back at they attacker, would you in turn be death gripping the DK ? Hope not

its not the glyph atm, deathgrip just ignores the grounding totem(s)

When it stops ignoring grounding totems I'd assume DG spam will penetrate our grounding totems after 5-6 presses.

Dude that would be funny as hell man. A dk dgs your grounding and ur totem brings him to u for magma totems and earthquake times 5. Imagine the pissed off person on that dk when he gets raped cause he got brought into you. Fail at that dg to his team but he comes to mine haha.

I can assure you, pre-patch, when you death grip a grounding totem your combat log will read

"XXX's Death Grip failed. Grounding Totem was immune."

I'm suspecting this wasn't a bug, blue's stated many moons ago that grounding totems eating physical spells wasn't intended. Death Grip's effect has always been classified as physical, so I think this was a fix. I've noticed they're not absorbing HoJ's and I don't *think* it's soaking Repentence. I think glyphed or not, we're open to DGs now - and frankly, I'd rather have that happen that have a DK be able to wipe out my groundings by button mashing (which, btw, right now that glyph is bugged).

I tested it last night with and without glyph. Deathgrip now ignores grounding totems.

On wowhead, death grip is listed as a physical spell, so if that's the case, they've changed it from magical and it's working as intended.

The glyph is more for the retards who DG bubbled / iceblocked people and now they get to do it again soon as it wears off !
