Hello,

I considered getting ISBoxer, mainly for the ground targeting (5x hurricane / 5x flamestrike etc) capabilities. My question here (and I can't seem to find the answer elsewhere) is that:

How do you account for the fact that the toons might be on different spots and/or facing different directions? Or even if they're at the same spot facing the same way, what if the camera angle is different? As far as I can tell, ISBoxer just broadcasts the mouse click the x,y coordinate in the screen. Does ISBoxer always readjust camera angles for everyone to be exactly the same?

Also, from the videos that I saw, it seems like all toons are exactly at the same spot. How do you achieve this? I thought when you have 1 main and 4 slaves, then the slaves would always be slightly behind the main, because they're following the main.

I either drop follow and back the main up, or walk the slaves forward into the main (if they're all going to be dropping AoE), If the main isn't going to be doing AoE, then I just use one of the slave windows to do the targetting, as it's not easy getting it right if the main isn't in the same position (especially on ground that isn't flat).

As for the camera, you used to be able to set preset camera views with WoW's SaveView(n) function, and restore them with SetView(n) (where n -1 to 5), but that's just another of the (probably) thousands of things that got broken in the latest patch ;)

If it did work then a top down view is best, and you just drop AoE on top of everyone.

Setview still works. It's mostly a matter of configuring a view angle and distance where the slaves will roughly match what you're doing on the master.

For example, my hunter's view would be scrolled all the way out and from a higher angle than my tank. My Enhancement shaman's view is scrolled out a little less, but a more pronounced angle so that she's targetting the ground and not the back of my head.

At either rate, it should give an angle and distance that puts my tank in the center of their screen. IT doesn't need to be 100% accurate, targetted spells have a pretty large area of coverage.
