Way back after TBC 2.x.x came out, they made Druids auto shift out of feral after pushing a spell cast. I remember the patch notes said there's a way to turn this off. I cant find this in the interface options, nor any of the websites. How do you toggle this on and off? Have they they removed this since then?

This is a few weeks old already, but since I see no answer yet, try this:

Macro the spells that you don't want to fire while in feral form (shifting you our of form), something like this:

/cast [stance: 0] spell name

I "think" Stance: 0 is the basic druid form, this will prevent the spell from casting in bear, cat, travel, and swim form, but also prevent it from firing in boomkin form. If you are using feral form, it is unlikely that you'll have boomkin form, so should be fine. I'm at work, so can't check it, but if stance: 0 doesn't work, try stance: 1

Stance 1 is bear form for druids. [nostance] is the correct parameter, IIRC.

You can preface your macros with:

/stopmacro [flying][Stance:1][Stance:2][channeling]
<Insert /Cast or /Castsequence or /Click>
