Warrior + 4 priests in AV

No not me, yet anyway, still working on my four priests, have them at 73 now, BUT.....

This was the only box team, since I can remember, to beat me hands down in a battleground (me on 5xshaman).

They were using the Holy Nova spam strategy, and they use it at the IB tower/GY chokepoint. The first time I got to them, I annihilated them, keeping my distance, but the next couple of times, they had support, and boy what a difference that made. I got smoked in no time flat, no hasty retreat. I REALLY miss instant ghost wolf these days.

Anyway it was quite effective. I'm guessing it was one of us. Priests didn't seem to run too low on mana quickly, for some reason. I haven't tried them since 4.01 to see how the mana goes now, but pre 4.01 it drained away like water.

shamans can tear up my priest team just by using thunderstorm. You have 5 of them and can usually break the follows and make the holy novas largely worthless. Maybe you couldn't because of the chokepoint, but unless he was doing something more than holy nova spam your thunderstorms should have won.

Was he by any chance shadow spec and doing nice damage while doing holy nova for survivability? I know that's what I'm going to be rolling when I resub. Glad to see the holy nova strat is catching on :) I think priests have some potential

Looks like he's disc. I bet that works well too. Did you see any barriers go up? Coordinated penance for DPS? I know for my priests having reflective shield worked wonders, as well as having the holy nova spam spawn divine aegis.

Sooooo tempting to resub!!! I'll definitely make some more movies once 85.
