Hey all,

im sure this is going to become a popular thread in time, cata is soon to come and the patch on wednesday is going to have consequences, my teams that have been optimised with clicks will be rendered disabled until a complete reconfiguration, since im making a new team anyway its not too much of a big deal.

can everyone who uses the PTR and has tested and has discovered removed, modified functions for us to operate please report it in this thread.

im sorting out a new team and i want to make it based on the new changes , i want a 48 hour start.

the first i hear is the /click removal? will cause some hicups, not end of the world but certain will mess up dps.

anything else we should have heads up about?

excuse my english long day no sleep eeeek

From what I've gleaned from here and other sites (if I understand correctly), commas are also being removed from /castsequences :(

Click is still in the game and works fine. However, only the first click seems to function. So if you have a vehicle macro, to click buttons 1, 2, 3, and 4, and normally spam the macro, after the patch only the first /Click command will execute.

Or if you have a Click Castsequence, with a spam macro which clicks several other macros, only the first Click command will be recognized. This means, the other macros/sequences will never execute, by spamming the master macro which you current spam.

Given that, macros will still likely execute top-down. So you might be able to do:
/Castsequence Spell 1, Spell 2, Spell 3, Spell 1, Spell 4, Spell 1, Spell 3, Null
/Click MultiBarRightButton12

And have on that button:
/Castsequence Spell 1, Spell 2, Spell 3.... etc

Which gets us a double length macro, by utilizing /Click. But does not let us utilize /Click for perfectly timed (assuming consistent spam speed and tweaked castsequences) DPS of multiple abilities in a priority sequence.

Commas are also removed from castsequences, so we cannot use them as a timer mechanism.

I have a pally and a druid. I have the same macro keyed to the button I currently use on the pally windows for HoR.

This the pre-patch druid heal macro i used:

/tar Pally
/castsequence reset=combat Wild Growth, Lifebloom, Regrowth, Lifebloom, Healing Touch, Lifebloom, Healing Touch, Rejuvenation, Nourish, Regrowth, Swiftmend, Lifebloom

Current using on the PTR:

/castsequence reset=combat Wild Growth, Regrowth, Healing Touch, Healing Touch, Rejuvenation, Nourish, Regrowth, Swiftmend

then i guess we have to split up abilities into chunks instead of the single buttons. total nightmare for death knights

im currently configuring the new team with these laws.

if anyone else knows anything please let us know, so we can learna dn develope techniques that are effective, were all beta now!
