I totally forgot about the Doomguard pet so I went and did the quest to get the spell. I didn't realize they made such awesome changes to them. For one, a person who helps summon doesn't die now..two, it automatically enslaves and three it lasts for 15 minutes now! I would say that makes it a viable pet. Going to test them out in WG today. :)

doomguards are epic though in 4.0 there ins cast and olny a 10min cooldown + you get to keep your other main pet out
the olny thing i hated is when i had them out in AV noone wonted to play with me :'(

...that probably won't last long after it goes live. Although it would be awesome if it did!

OMG! I hope that goes live. That would just be way too insane. Think of dungeons! (if you can summon them in there).

they lost a few spells though and less HP and Mana same with infrmor there on the same 10min cooldown and keep old pet up as well. you Shell see tomz after DoomDay hits

In 4.0 it shares cooldown with infernal though, which apparently is better at aoe now. But we will see.

Looks like the doonguard can be summoned and only last for 45 seconds now. :( crap

So Doomguard/Inferal is a burst option, your Ace in the Hole...

I just looked up the quest info that starts the Doomguard chanin at http://www.wowhead.com/npc=14463#comments
This quest is being removed in 4.0.1 with spell "Summon Doomguard" learned at level 58. The Ritual of Doomguard is no more.
Looks like it's trainable with the latest update.
Oh and btw, thanks blast3r for the thread... just another thing I've missed with tunnel vision while leveling up!

YES. Thank you Ualaa for making one of the sweetest visuals for me. It's going to feel so epic when aoe groups get pulled and as a warlock hailing a meteor down from the sky and having a demonic/elemental thing wreck shop.
On topic [of doomguards, etc] Gotta love the prospect of a 5 warlock/4 Lock + Healer Group cruising around with so many models [5Characters, 10 Pets, 5 Cosmetic Pets... >:D] . Kill people in BGs just from the lag :P
