View Full Version : [ISBoxer] Can't get formations to work

So I went to ISBoxer like I said and pretty well have it figured out. I was then screwing around with the built in formations, keybound them to HOME, PGUP, and PGDN for the three that are in there (v, star, line). I also bound END to /dance just to see if that worked. Dance works, but the formations don't seem to work. Any idea on what I'm missing?
PS: I don't use Q and E to strafe, so I bound SHIFT <- and -> for the strafe keys in game, and changed it accordingly in ISBoxer.

OK, I did figure out that it works if I hit the formation key from any other than my main. Sorry if this is something simple, maybe I'm just missing something obvious.

A formation can be static or dynamic.
The static will have a given toon/slot move in a pre-configured direction.
The dynamic will have the active toon not move, but have the others move.
My spread-out key is dynamic.
It is just a few extra steps in the configuration process.

So its late and maybee my brain is off, but i cannot figure this out. My broadcast click bar works but the formation one doesnt do any thing on main or slaves. I'm not sure if im just missing some thing or missing alot, not really even sure were to start.
Any help would be awsome.

Isn't the shift key icm ftl modifiers messing with you?
May be try it with a couple of normal keys to make sure it isn't shift.

My slots use:
- Left Alt
- Right Alt
- Left Ctrl
- Right Ctrl
- Left Ctrl + Left Alt
My spread out key is Shift ~.
Most of my hotkeys for mapped keys, are either keys of Shift + Key.
Maybe not using the same modifier as a slot FTL modifier for movement is important.
I do have a few Alt + Number mapped keys, and FTL Assist works just fine with those.
It's a little hard for me to troubleshoot the default formations in IS Boxer...
I made mine, at a point when formations did not exist, except for custom formations done by individuals.
So I can explain what I did, but am not sure if its the same as the default formations from the wizard.
