When ever my lead gets feared, my slaves don't assist properly. They will keep the last target, but if my main changes targets while feared they don't pick it up.
Is there a particular assist in order to bypass this?
I get alot of people chain fearing me, and if my guys aren't assisting then I'm just standing there getting beat... A few are realizing it, and using that as a take down tactic on me lol.
I just have /assist boxone in my macro, nothing special. it works great aside from this one hiccup.
Any feedback?
Thx

I also find that if my lead gets sheeped my slaves won't dps my target (especially if it changes). I use focus leader /assist focus method.

Things that make you lose control of your char makes it so your alts won't see who you have targeted. Not sure why that is a good thing (why Blizzard would do it ), but that is the way it works. So fear, sheep, etc. are sucky. If you use 1 computer, you can switch to one of your alts to make it your main. If you use multiple computers, it is kind of a limitation. I just use non-macros spells on my alts so they don't have to look to assist my main. To do facing, you can do IWT (interact with target keybind) and then any movement key to get them to face the mob/player, then stop to be able to cast.

activate broadcast all -> press tab -> deactive broadcast all -> nuke. Or swap to an other target. That's what i do, depends on the situation.

Or, using ISBoxer, you can do an instant swap using Lax's built in wizard for FTL and have your other 3 (or 4) toons work fine while your "main" wanders around as a sheep or blindman or whatever.

The switching to another character, is probably the best option.
Prior to IS Boxer, I had seen quite a few go with a variation of:
/TargetLastEnemy
<Insert Assist Method>
/Cast Whatever
Which would have your toons target the last hostile mob/player, and then assist the lead toon. And if for whatever reason they could not assist the leader (sheeped, feared, etc), they would at least be DPSing someone.

Not a huge fan of the in-depth controls of isboxer. The crtl, alt modifiers when swapping caused me so much grief with little benefit to my play style.
I felt like so much of the core of how it's done was hidden.but it was great for same class/build with lead swapping
I'll try the /lasttraget thing. And stock up on free action pots for those chain fearing locks.

just let them target anything like party 1 and assist will work again

Lol that worked. Surprised I didn't figure that out, as I was getting it to reset that way but after the fear ended, thinking the problem fixed after. Sooner is better.
Thx for the fix.

You can change the hotkey used to swap to another window. Personally, I used the G keys on my G15 keyboard. Makes it simple to switch toons.

I've got G13, G14, G15, G16 and G17 as the window swap keys.
You could make your swaps, via F1-F5 if you wanted, or just about any other key or key combination.
You can also mouse click on a given window to switch that way.

Swap to another character with FTL or use Sticky targeting.
