Running 2 sessions, 1 per monitor. It seems whichever session is loaded last has 10 +/- more FPS then the other at all times. Any particular reason? Would like to bump the other session FPS up to match.

Vista Ultimate 64-Bit - Dual View
Q6600 @ 3.6GHz
8800 GTS (G92) 785/2250/1961
4GB HP2-6400 RAM
2x 22" 1680x1050 Widescreens.

So the 2 on Monitor 1 are 10FPS faster than the two on Monitor 2?

Could be to do with your graphical settings on some of them. Limited FPS? etc.

BTW Q6600 @ 3.6GHz? thats like an overclock of 1.2GHz(!) What cooler are you using?

Monitor 1 = 80FPS (Loaded WoW First)
Monitor 2 = 90FPS (Loaded WoW Second)

Though if I load WoW first on Monitor 2, it'll switch
Monitor 1 = 90FPS (Loaded WoW second)
Monitor 2 = 80FPS (Loaded WoW First)

All settings are identical, including addons. Though I've been trying to trouble shoot FPS issues w/ addons. For example I can get 120 FPS with no addons, and 60 FPS w/ addons at the same spot, etc. Tried all addons 1 at a time and none were the sole cause. Just a combined affect. Mainly trying to solve the issue of FPS dropping to 30-40FPS (Shatt Banks, Nagrand) when I normally get 80ish.

Using a Zalman 9700. Cores 0 and 1 max out at ~69C, 2 and 3 at 60C while doing Prime95. Volts a bit high on it, but only because my mobo has bad Vdroop and I don't feel like soldering it.

I don't know what the issue is with your WoW installs, but mad props on the speed of that CPU.

Proof that the Q6600 is FAR FAR FAR superior to those peice of shit Phenoms. I'd love to see someone try and overclock them by 1GHz ;-)

The last WoW you start will be the foreground application, so therefore it will have more CPU priority. Does the FPS change depending on which window is active? In other words, does the FPS always stay 80fps for first and 90fps for the second or does it vary if you make the first WoW the focus (i.e. bring it to the front or click in that window)?

Did you check maxfps and maxfpsbg settings?

maxfps and maxfpsbk are both set to 0 (unlimited) and it does not matter which session has focus. Vsync is always off.

Phenoms are AMD's quad cores.
