Well seems its time for me to hop in the cockpit again.

After skilling for a Hulk and becoming bored out of my mind with mining, I gave up Eve. Now its time to start a new toon, multiboxing style!

I will be reactivating my 2 accounts but plan on starting from fresh as mission runners to start.

what I'm wondering is, if you guys have any tips for multiboxing?

It's been awhile since I've done missions but here goes:

Mission running with more than one character is cake in EVE. Unless there are respawn waves, the NPC's for the most part target the first player ship they see, and never retarget. Especially early on, more characters = more DPS = faster mission times. Later when you are highly skilled (eve skills, not RL skills) it's not as efficient as you spend too much time flying around and getting new missions instead of shooting things.

One easy setup is to go with drone boats. The Dominix in particular can tank pretty much anything, and you can set your drones to assist another pilot. Heavy drones are nice, but sentry drones are even better as they have no travel time. You can in theory setup as many Domi's with sentry drones to assist your main, and then just have your main shoot the next victim. If you do it right, all the sentry drones will open fire.

Honestly, eve is not the best game to box in the sense of SW support. It's too mouse based to broadcast effectively. It's a fabulous game to box because having more pilots just means things are easier. It's also slower such that its easier to alt-tab to manually control more than 1 pilot.
