So my priest is 72 w/ the heirloom items whats faster dungeon crawls, pvp, questing or a mix bag?

When I leveled my team PVP was the way to go I didnt have to worry about annoying collection quests and it seemed to go pretty fast. What do you guys think?

I'm solo leveling a few of my toons also and finding that dungeons are faster. If you can roll as a healer for them and are good at it, I'd do that for faster ques. My server, it's taking forever at my hours I'm on and only being able to run as dps (mage/rogue) my ques take forever, but I level up faster in instances than grinding/questing. At your level right now, I take my toons to Howling Fjord and grind the constant spawning mobs there outside the starting area at the gate. As long as you do enough damage to them before they die, you'll get most of the xp off the kills when the npcs take them down. I used my hunter there to level up all his pets in the stable that were still 69, he was 73 at the time. I mostly tagged each one that spawned with a Viper Sting as fast as I could. I leveled them up real fast and gained a few levels there also. It's pointless once you hit 76 cause you stop getting xp off the wolfs. Right now he's in limbo. If grinding xp doesn't bother you, try that out to gain a few levels. Sacred Shield yourself then run around blasting Holy Nova, that should get you fast xp till 76. Downside here is there's no loot when they die, but it's fast easy xp if you can stay alive. And if you haven't, grab two of the heirlooms that give 2% mana off each kill that awards xp/honor. I've got two on my mage and the downtime is shorter cause he gets 4% off each kill he gets. This only works tho if you get the killing blow I think, so grinding this spot may not be a good idea for using those items, I'll have to try once my mage gets there, but elsewhere they'll help out.

I would do a mix bag.
Do all the dungeons a few times, but make sure you do quests as well.
maybe focus on some important questlines, like the wrathgate at your level.

Since you're with heirlooms, you can afford to skip all the annoying quests as you'll out level the regions quickly.

definitely do the random dungeon everyday to build up a stack of triumphs,. that and the BG.

Leveling solo exclusively by questing gives over 500k xp/hour.
That includes - Epic flyer, rest state and both xp bonus heirlooms.

No group quests, no dungeons.

This is how I leveled my solo toons.

Nice I'm not rocking the rested XP but I'm sure that would help a ton. My question is as you said I can afford to skip out on the lower zone. Im not really sure why i didnt think of this before. Im 73 and im questing in Howling Fjord... I suppose thats a little bit stupid huh. Been forever since I lvled legit (quests and dungeons) like i said earlier I just did BG grinding on the pallies...

But its a better idea to go ahead and not to the low lvl places always go for the higher zones correct?

Howling Fjord (68 – 72)
Borean Tundra (68 – 72)
Dragonblight (71 – 74)
Grizzly Hills (73 – 75)
Zul'Drak (74 – 77)
Sholazar Basin (76 – 78)
The Storm Peaks (77 – 80)
Crystalsong Forest (77 – 80)
Hrothgar's Landing (77 – 80)
Icecrown (77 – 80)
Wintergrasp (Outdoor PvP, 75+ to participate, 78+ for weekly quests)

I'm always as soon as I can in every zone and don't finish chains if I just have the level to go elsewhere.

I've been following this guide from day 1 of WotLK (yes, it was already uo day 1 :)).

wtbblue guided me but it's unfortunately gone.

Here's my route:

Howling Fjord (68 – 70)
Dragonblight (71)
Grizzly Hills (72 – 73)
Zul'Drak (74 – 75) - I try to get 76 as soon as I can because Sholazar it's great and the highest speed you can have on questing. So I either stay a bit longer in Grizzly Hills or Zul'Drak.
Sholazar Basin (76)
Icecrown (77 – 79) - I do Argent Crusade + Crystalsong quests, then I go to the Zep, do Ebon Hand and by the time I have no more quests I just have a few xp left to ding 80.
I head then to K3 and in less than a dozen quests it's over.
